Please Help! I lost my start-up disc!

Assuming you're using a PC client for North American servers, you can download the setup program here:
http://download.cityofheroes.com/US/CoH_NA_Setup.exe
You can use your regular login information once it's done downloading and installing, but it'll be a while because you'll have to download the whole game with all of the most recent patches.

Hah, that happens.
But you can also just buy an Architect edition game disc or something, a pretty good deal since it comes with a month gameplay and a super booster, and saves you redownloading most of the game.

Strange thing about this game, you can download it for free through your PlayNC master account, but to actually get to play it, you need a valid account.
To save download/patching if you do a HD wipe, or suffer a disaster, or want to get CoH quickly on another computer, you can check on the tech forums on how to burn a copy of the CoH directory to a DVD for a quick re-install.
You can install CoH on as many computers as you like, with computer owner's permission. Seriously!

A quick search on Amazon revealed new copies of GvE edition for less than $10. That's less than the cost of the month of play it includes in addition to the GvE goodies.

If they show the card, and the Dreamonium is not scratched off, then it should be safe to buy. Otherwise, the key should be considered used.

I moved recently and due to a bad virus I got I had to reset my PC to factory settings. I lost my start-up disc (CoV) and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or can tell me what my options are. I'm really not trying to spend another 50 bucks to re-install. Thanks in advance.
