Thunderous Blast

On an Elec/Elec, would it be commone practice to slot Thunderous Blast solely for damage or half and half for the damage and end drain/-recovery?

I slotted mine just like my other attacks with IO's on the dmg side(acc/dam/rech)

Why slot for end mod when you can just slot for dmg and kill them?

EDIT: Another note, I generally slot 3 dmg, 2 recharge, and 1 accuracy in nukes

This.

Lightning kills.

I don't slot it for accuracy at all. It already has a higher base accuracy than most attacks, and I never use a nuke without Aim and Build Up, which pretty much gives me a 95% chance to hit just about anything. If I'm using SO's or generic IOs I go 3 dam, 3 rech.

That's if I even take the nuke. I skip it a lot of the time.

Sometimes (around once a year) I have to use a nuke as an actual emergency power- no time for Aim and Build Up even if they're recharged- and in those situations, I like to have a LITTLE accuracy. It's overly conservative, but a nuke without overkill is hardly a nuke at all. (And let us not speak of CoT Quicksand and the like.)

Purely for damage and recharge. The end drain is already impressive without end mod enhancement.
I absolutely love this power!

Pretty much joining the chorus line, here. No need to slot for the End Mod at all, just Recharge and Damage; a little bit of Accuracy wouldn't hurt, but I'm not sure if I can remember a time that I fired off a nuke without using Aim+Build Up first.

One possible EndMod slotting exception, but I think the answer negates this idea; can you slot the PerfShifter Proc in here? Well, I know you can, but who gets the End if it goes off, the dead mobs or the Blaster?

I frankenslot mine, but I'm with the crowd on this one.

Soft-capped acc against the target, and then as much dmg / rch
as will fit is the approach I recommend.

It's a nuke - its job is to make everyone in front of me die....

If anyone is still standing, you pop a blue, and Power Sink them... There's your Endurance Drain and Recovery!

Alternatively, you can get more or less the same numbers from slotting 4 Dam/Rech AoE or PBAoE set IOs. Similar result, saves 2 slots.

The mobs do. The Perf Shifter proc grants endurance to the initial target of the power.
