  1. Thanks for the replies. The reason I am aiming for soft cap is because of my past experiences running with it on my Ele/SD/fire scrapper. I really enjoy it but was trying to find something a little different. I would figure with a ton of guys around me for 10 minutes anything but soft cap and I will be face planting.
  2. Wow, lots of stuff here. I would guess my only other question would be, is there another secondary that has a ease of getting base soft cap defenses(without the use of purples or the primary set) without totally gimping a build w/ recharge etc? I know I would be giving up SC. But something like SR maybe? Thanks again.

  4. Thanks for the replies. There are some AE's that I can just be surrounded by enemies. Definitly not bosses but a full mix. My ele/sd is soft capped in all 3, 1.7 sec off perma hasten and has enough recoverythat unless I am on a full team with no stop in some AE's I have very few problems with end(running with fire mastery). I was really just looking for a nice change of pace from him but when help people out with xp and tickets they face plant within seconds of entering. Even some lvl 50's with some IO's but I so not know there builds. Even with soft cap defense and some blows sitll get through. I guess that is the nice thing about dark though and having that heal up all the time?

  6. There are some AE missions that I love running that you can herd a ton of mobs all around you and then go to town. I currently have an IO'd Ele/SD scrapper that is a blast but I wanted to try out something new. I have my current scrapper soft capped in positionals and I would like to have the same, or possibly s/l instead. I was trying to stay out of shield as a secondary if possible but would still go that route if need be. I liked the idea of a spines/fire but I have no way of having decent def it seems on one of those. Would a spins/??? be any good for this type? I am definitly looking to IO out the build with a medium price range of 1-2 bill or so.
  7. Thanks for the reply. I will work around some mroe and see what I can do. I originally thought the + chance at heal proc would be nice but it fires so infrequently and doesnt heal worth a damn that it really is not worth it. I just liked the + to rech.

    Force feedback is somewhere around a 20% chance to fire every time I hit thunderstrike, or is it a 20% chance to fire off every target thunderstrike hits?
  8. Any ideas where or how? One of the things I wanted to keep were the LoTG's for later in life w/ purples for other things but I have not been able to find anything with this high recharge. I ran builds w/ chain induction still instead of fire blast but I could not get the recharge that high w/o spending even more it seemed
  9. So after tweaking some things I found a build I seem to be mostly happy with. I know my DDR is crud but I am mainly looking for ease w/ farming. I am looking for any way to squeek anything else out of this. I am looking for as close to perma hasten, soft cap and the remainder in recovery/regen that I can get. I am going to swap havoc IO's for the purple set and same with char and fire blast once I get enough inf but for now this seems to be ok. I definitly do not like the bonuses on entropic chaos but I can't find any other way to get the recharge until I have purples in those sets. Anyone have any any suggestions or ways to get more out of these while still having the high recharge and soft capp or damn close? I am looking to keep two st attacks along with fireball and TS.

    Last edit: I am almost willing to see some of these builds with purples in them I just know I am still a little off on them. I have all the LOTG's and enough to finish the zephers but having ss almost seems like a waste to me. Anyways that is what I got so far and any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
  10. I like that idea but it seems almost pointless to have any blasters on a team now as a ele/sd scrapper seems to put out equal if not higher dmg than any of my blasters ever could. I am not complaing as I finally have a farmer with my ele/sd but it still makes me sad.
  11. Thanks for the reply. Are there any mastery shields that add to the positionals instead of S/L?

    And as for the other reply I still run through all the arcs but when I am trying to finish my builds and get some higher return inf rates, yes I farm. I think it is better than buying Inf online.

  13. I have been playing with my ele/sd scrapper now for a long while and he is fully built but it seems so many people are now running scrappers. I was thinking of trying a fire/??/ice blaster and try to cap out ranged def and getting aoe pretty decent. I run the Rikti Recon AE mission for farming on Freedom a lot with my scrapper and it works fine but I am dyin to try something else. My worry is that I will still fall flat so fast. My scrap is soft capped in all positions. If I were to make a blaster to try this would anyone have any idea on a good secondary? MM maybe? I would plan on trying hover blasting as there are 100ish guys in the AE. If I can stay above them and force them to throw ranged atacks and I am soft capped on ranged and or close on AE, wouldn't that be pretty decent for a fire blaster strategy? I may be way off on this because maybe the guys just jump to try and reach me and hit me with melee there. I am just sick of the fotm builds now and feel like tryin something new. I also hear ice is good for trying to get the def high than some of the other mastery sets. Thanks for the input
  14. Is there a way to make Mid's calculate phalanx correctly? I am looking at builds and all of them don't seem capped but around 42 but I was told it was because of phalanx.
  15. Am I missing something with the ranged def? I looked on my char and it is spot on what my mids is showing me of 45.7. not in the 48 range. I look on my char and it shows that also.
  16. Thanks for the suggestion and build. I have another few hours to go at work and then will get a quick look and compare. I really like the use with your mastery. I can't pull up mids where I am at but I am looking to see how much more recovery and regen you got. Thanks again.

    I agree on Willpower being a very good secondary. Once you get into quick recovery and RTTC life gets reall good on a willpower scrap. As far as primary, I went with dual blades but pretty much whatever looks fun to you. I liked the whole Neo/Matrix theme'd lookin guy and went with that. It was a blast. I could get through missions pretty quickly and it was fine with SO enhancements till I was ready to start looking at Invention Origin Enhancements. By then I was running +3/4-5 but before I was fine on the normal settings and had a blast on teams.
  18. Thanks for the replies. The only reason I went with the kb protection was to get a bit more from the set since I couldn't think of anything else. Would it be to my advantage to drop Deflection down to just 3-4 slots? DDR means defense debuff resistance right? I see the Steadfast I will try and rework and build in a bit diff. I went with this build as I was aiming for one build I saw off here but then realized the price of it. I still pieced together most of the sets so wanted to use those until I completly reworked it. Most the fire ones I have seen are way out of my range with purples for now but I hope to change that. Any ideas on a way to get in Steadfast and knock down some ranged while maybe upping the recharge and or keeping nice recovery? The farms I am running in AE keep me going non-stop so end drain is somewhat of a concern. Right now I pop a blue every now and then but it is not to bad. I see taking out of true grit some and maybe going into char or blast. Thanks again
  19. So here is what i came up with on my scrapper. I just finished most of it tonight but was thinking of grabbing a few purples later on and wanted some input. I have seen some nice templated but those were over 5 bill more than the 1.8 or so I spent on this guy.

  20. I am working on the portal jockey accolade and was wondering if I kill av's as epic bosses does it still count towards credit?
  21. I was going back to try and read what all was changed but i thought the dmg modifer for human form pb's was changed to .9 or something along those lines. Can anyone direct me to any info on it? Thanks
