Spirit Tree

Do the various healing procs work in it? If so, do they work for just the Dominator/Controller or does it benefit the whole team?

The procs give their benefit to the caster.

Which means that, depending on how the Tree is coded, the buff would either go to the Dom/Troller only, or to the Tree only.

im sure the various heal procs do work on it, but i think they only apply to you once you use the spirit tree power, but i am sure they do not work on anyone other than yourself (and maybe the spirit tree)

You'll get the benefit when you cast Spirit Tree. Your teamates will get no benefit, and it won't automatically refresh like it would in an auto power.

(Well, it will automatically refresh, but at that point it will be affecting the Spirit Tree pet, not you)

I was curious about that myself, especially in relation to Soothing Aura from Pain Domination.

No. As I said, the proc grants the bonus to the CASTER, not the TARGET. The only way to have the proc affect someone else is to give it to them and have them slot it in their own power.

Ah. Wasn't so much of meaning the tree but rather wondering if any procs affected teammates. I think Performance Shifter: Chance for +Endurance is the sole example and that fluctuates based on what it's slotted in (sometimes affects enemies instead).

I believe you're correct. Procs are coded to affect either the caster or the target (rule of thumb is that buffs affect the caster and debuffs affect the target). The Performance Shifter is a wierd one. It's coded to affect the Target but becuase of the wide variety of powers that can use it who the target is can vary wildly.

That's the gem right there.

If the proc/120 says "caster", then it affects only the caster. If it says target, it will affect any target of the power. Please note, with the kinetics heal and the +end proc, the power targets the enemy, drains end, and drops a psuedopet to do the actual heal, thus, in that case only the enemy benefits from the proc.

Thanks for the clarification. This is all very confusing to me.

Well i hope the previous posts cleared things up.
On a related note, is there a way to view detailed info for a proc or other special IO like you can for powers?
