The slider on recipes
it will give you the recipe at either the recipe lvl cap or your current lvl
the slider is used to get IOs that fall within that lvl range
for example if you moved the slider to lvl 20, you could get any IOs that overlapped at that lvl, but they would give you the recipe as high as whatever your lvl was or the highest lvl of the recipe

This is only true of AE rolls. Reward merit rolls can be bought at a specific level, so you can buy a level 25 LoTG even if you're 50.

ah, thx for the clarifcation, i rarely buy IOs from the merit vender because they are too damn expensive, i usually just random roll my merits (6/10 times i get something good)

I would HOPE that price is off by a factor of ten, or you have seriously been 'had'.
So yesterday I was offered 10 million infamy to use 200 merits to make a low level proc.

200 merits is easily worth 50 million or so inf.
Last time I sold a 'direct roll' it was a 250 (or maybe 275) merit one and I got 100 million inf, and that was a lowball for a friend.

Easily worth more. I got 150 mill for (crafted) lvl 10 Zephyr knockback protection which was 240 merits. Crafted Numina recovery/regen at level 30 seems to go for 150-200 million. Heck, the recipe alone is hitting 200 million.
Man, just noticed crafted zephyr going for up to 250 million now.
Just noticed this, glad you weren't taken in.

I estimate 180 mill for 240 merits. At least that's what I would pay for 12 random rolls from a sub-level-41 character.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.

Thanks for those prices, I haven't been able to get in game much this year, and most of the time I have been there, I really have not been paying much attention to pricing outside of my couple of niches.

Apart from the price (they're dreaming), I didnt think the slider effected the level of them, that is the recipe always went to max level.
EG I get a LoTG+recharge, my character is lvl 50, so even if I put the slider to 25, I get a lvl 50 IO recipe. (or whatever the highest level drop is for the IO)
Thats how its always worked for me with the random roles, but never tried it for a fixed price recipe.
So does slider work to pick the exact level of the drop?
(if I was at home puter 'd just go test but ... )
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
