A Hero in Need...is a Friend Indeed! (arc 375018) [Dr. Aeon's Second Challenge]
I had a chance to play this today and I really enjoyed it. Having Statesman be the one that lost his powers and then having him deal with a low level hero for help was certainly interesting.
I felt like a true aspiring hero after this arc.
Icy
Do I get to kill Statesman at the end?

Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.
I spent over ten hours today totally redoing the final mission of this arc. I did it because of some of the feedback I got over the last day or so. I am really happy with the changes made, though since I have added so many details there is always a chance for bugs to sneak in. If you find one please send me a tell in game or a PM (again to avoid spoilers). Thanks to all who have provided me feedback so far, it has been a great help.

Wrong Number,
I replayed this because you said you completely changed the last mission. All I can say is wow. Seriously, I don't want to give anything away, but great, great addition to the arc. I also noticed a few other changes to the arc and they imho were good changes. I found one very minor typo (you left a "." off the end of a sentence) which I sent you in game.
Icy
Ack, I did forget to tell you in PM that I also enjoyed the choice of maps.
Please don't call me a brown-noser or copy-cat!
The truth is: Statesman lost all his powers because he didn't recognize Ohio as a State, right?
Guess you'll hafta play the Arc as I did and find out!
It got 5 stars from me (oooo, like that matters) and I say it's one of the top-notch contenders to win the contest.
That's 3 submitted arcs other than my own that I've played now.
Be hopping back on tommorrow to try out another one listed on the forums (that is unless you request yours first on my Power of Persuasion posting) <---- HEY! That's cheap advertising!
Was much improved on the second play. Sent some notes in a PM. Good luck in the contest!

OK, the finishing touches are done. I have marked the arc "final" and I have officially submitted the arc. Now begins the dreaded waiting!
Win or loose I want to thank all the people that took the time to play my arc and for all the great feedback they provided me. The arc is vastly improved due to you all.
FYI for anyone that has not submitted it yet, when you send in your contest entry you get an "out of office" message back thanking you for your entry.

A few updates to this arc since the contest ended and from feedback.
- Created a "custom" Circle of Thorns group with the standard character's minus the Spectral Demons and Knights. It became apparent very quickly upon testing the level bump that these are way too tough for 10 and lower.
- Higher end of the arc's level range bumped from 10 to 14.
- Updated Fredrick and Zamuel's looks with a little recolor to help them stand out a bit more.
- Minor typo corrected.
- Put a an extra little something in something's description.

This morning I was thrilled to receive the following feedback along with my 100th play on this arc:
@Remianen: Feedback on Architect Mission A Hero in Need...is a Friend Indeed!: That was awesome! "Wow, you thought it was the car? Really?"
I wanted to note this mile post by thanking everyone who has played and who helped in creating the arc. I was very disappointed not to win, place or show in the challenge, but the reception and feedback I have gotten on this arc has made me proud to have created it. Thanks.

Yeah, this was a really fun arc. I did it with a level 5 DS/thermal MM and it was easy enough that I could pay attention to the flavor text and really enjoy the story as it unfolded.
I will say that the contact kinda turned me off, but that's only because I despise him in general.

This arc no longer works due to Statesman being the contact for it.
Update: I was able to get the arc to work by changing the contact's name to "Marcus Cole". I hate it, but at least the arc is working.
