Leveling a WM/EA brute, currently only lvl 9 or so. The build has softcapped typed defenses (to all but psi). After the defenses I went for +health and +regen (I think I managed to get a fair amount of it) and global accuracy. Since the build has 6 attacks I figured I could manage without hasten and I didn't go for a lot of global recharge even.

Comments please?

Looks like a pretty good build. I have some suggestions though.

1)Replace the mako set in clobber with a set of crushing impact. You will not lose much health bonus and you get a 5% recharge bonus. The big defense bonus on the makos is positional so you will only get a small bonus to energy defense. You should allready be capped on energy so its not needed.

2) Just 3 slot stamina. With EA you dont need the plus end proc. It will save you about 10 mil.

3) I love the eradication set. I normally 4 slot my pbaoe's with eradication and 2 slot with scirrocco for a nice 10% regen bonus. I would do this with all 3 PBAOE powers.

4)I recomend putting some heal Io's into energy drain.Maybe 3 efficacy adapter or performance shifter and 3 numina for the health and regen bonus.

5)Does boxing need to be slotted??

One more thing....since your not really too concerned with recharge...i wouldnt waste merits or infamy on the extremly expensive LOTG plus recharge Io in combat jumping.

OK, it's been awhile since I posted, but I can't resist when advice is asked on WM/EA. I have one at 50 that is softcapped and it is one of my favorite characters.

You really don't need aid self, slot ED different and take advantage of the heal it offers. Yes , you will hear a bunch of people complain it isn't much of a heal, but it works real well when you are in the center of a large mob. I have mine slotted to max out heal and recharge first, then slot for end mod and end after. What this will give you is about a 45% heal every 25-30 seconds with moderate global recharge. The way I play mine I am always surrounded by the aggro cap in mobs and with softcapped defenses it provides all the heal you will need. You can now either take the other passive and overload, or takw a patron pool for a little more AoE. I would take the passive and overload myself to avoid redraw. Other than that the build looks pretty good.

Please see below for your modified build. It keeps your defense soft-capped. There is a slot left, you can add it yourself

I think you run out of slots as a couple powers are under-slotted in order to give way to defense set bonus. I changed a couple slotting such that the bonus can be acquired more efficiently.

This is something the OP has to try out, I think different people have different experience. If you push the limit, even energy drain with aid self are not enough, and you may want to add damage debuff from darkest night.

I normally run at +2/8x and survive just fine. If you push a little more you may run into some issues at +4/8x, but surviving at that difficulty is more skill than build in most cases. Personally I just don't like aid self and tend to not take it.

For energy drain, I think the idea is to have a larger heal component. You can adjust the slotting there to suit your style. There is no best way to slot the power. From my experience, I don't need to fully slot energy drain with endurance modification. Two mobs are enough to fully recover my endurance with the slotting I put there.

Comparing yours with mine, my build overall has a slightly lower accuracy, damage buff, hit points and regeneration bonus. I think the accuracy and a few percent of damage buff are probably not too big a deal. In return, pulverize and aid self are better slotted, buildup recharges faster, and you don't need to slot boxing which you'll never use.

I used your build, changed the slotting slightly in Shatter (didn't need the cleaving blow bonuses), I switched the LotG +rech for a kismet +acc and added a slot to clobber for more effectiveness. Thanks. Now time to level the toon up.

There is no way to make Overload perma. It is much easier to get softcapped defenses and make Overload not needed at all. I have 45+ in all except Psi(25%) and -energy(35%)
