Cath, I'm about out of EoE. Any chance of some farming before the raid this weekend?

I'll be farming some EoE tonight. I'll announce in HKS.
Keep an eye on the channel each evening because we'll have several excursions lead by different people.
As to the REAL reason I'll be leaving, I'm afraid it is indeed because Tamaki Revolution dc'd on me during a RSF.
Thanks for the help with EoE gathering tonight!
Also, please make sure to get the word out for the theme of this week's raid.
Sigh. I missed it. I had some real life stuff to do tonight. Cath, good news though: I GOT THE BOMB BABY!

Would you be willing to get some people together to monster bash tomorrow, Fallenz?
I will try. Around 8pm est?
Monkey wants to go. He promises not to poop on anyone this time.

I got my Crazy 8 costume ready to go (hearts on my boots, diamonds on my gloves and an 8 right in the middle of mah boobi... errrr.... chest. And nothing else of course :0 )
Since this is intended to be a full *team* effort, if you have been through a few of this style of raid and would be comfortable holding the star for a team, let Cath know by PM (and let him know what team you'd like to run). Crazy 8, yeah we got your leader right here! Crazy 16, ok we got another leader to get you through! Crazy 24? OK, who invited all the dang scrappers? Heeeeeheeeeeeheeeee!
Cool, a Sunday raid.
Sounds great. Everyone look for Fallenz to lead the EOE gathering on Friday, January 29th @ 8 PM Eastern.

Let's not neglect gathering Bio Nukes as well. Perhaps we can do this after the EoE run tonight.
Monkey only does that because he loves you!

The longest part of a Hami raid for us is team set up...
When you arrive in the Hive, it is extremely helpful to state your AT *OR* the team you should be on. For instance, generally scrappers should be on the melee teams BUT spines scrappers do very well on the ranged teams. PBs and WSs can be on almost any team depending on their personal play style and power selections - melee, ranged, hold or tank - so especially for the Kheldians, please state the team you think you would help the most.
Also... when you arrive and announce where you should be - give us up to 5 minutes to find you a team before being concerned! Sometimes, we have to balance teams out ("We will trade you a kin-fender for your emp-troller") before we find the right team for you. Sometimes we have 2 full teams and you are toon number 17, and now we need to set up a third team ("Ummm... 17 divided by 3 is 5... no 6... no5... AHHHHH!"). Also, sometimes we need more information before finding the right place ("well, "I like to hit things" covers several archetypes - can you be more specific?").
...but we are getting much better! Soon we will just flow like a tide across Hami. Team formation will take 5 minutes. Runs will start with "Gather. Buff. Go." Mitos will fall like rain. We will be able to take the bloom without leaving the goo. [Cell Death] will become commonplace. Raids will go in 20 minutes, and with a 10 minute reset, we will do 4 in 2 hours for crazy merits - we will FARM HAMI! I see a future where all toons are equal importance. I have a dream... a DREAM, I tell you!!!
Ahhhh, crap. Yeah, I guess it is all a dream. This won't happen anytime soon - and I didn't shoot JR.
Heeeeeheeeeeheeeee (and yeah, I guess I should lay off the caffeine)
I'm planning on being there Sunday. I'll be on my Dark/Dark Defender by default, but I'm always willing to switch up if there's something we else we need worse as people start arriving.
I should be able to make it to help with EoE farming for about an hour tonight if we're still starting at 8:00 EST. (Unless I get stuck at doing things at work or something - eww.)

It just occurred to me to mention this:

Unfortunately, I'm out of this one because my net at home is down for an undeterminable amount of time, but BAB willing, I would try to make it for the contest if I do get back up in the next couple of days :<
I don't want to neglect my toons, but...
What, no plans for a team with matching costumes, each with a different letter spelling out E-I-G-H-T ?
I'm hoping to be there on my long neglected Kin 'fender.
