It always seems to me like whenever someone complains that their vid card has kicked the bucket, it is a Nvidia card.
Maybe it's just me.

my video card finally committed hari kari last night, now it overheats not only with graphics up in 3d games, but also merely while browsing web pages or watching a video online
it was a EVGA e-GeForce 6200 LE, without a fan, it pretty much never worked very well
now, I don't have the funds to get a whole new system (which is what I would need to truly upgrade, since my current box cannot take PCI-E cards), so to get a little more life out of the AGP system I'm gonna get yet another new AGP card
this one is the PowerColor AG3650, which is a bit better of a card overall, and actually has a fan this time, so hopefully this will solve at least Some of my ongoing issues
anyway, I can't play til it gets here, so have a fun week!
