The point you're missing so consistently here is that *prestige means nothing* when it comes to finding a good SG. Zero, zip, nada. That list is one of the most useless items in the game.

And yes, people keep going back to "the members should get a say," because - they *should.* An SG is not (generally) a single person affair. It's something all members put work into.
The flip side of this is that prestige is *not* that hard to get. It's just as easy to say "Hey, whoever wants to, come on over" and build up again - easier, in fact, than trying to get the game changed to let SGs move, dealing with all the problems brought up before - which lets those that would want to stay stay put and still have a home they've put work into.

Then it's not "cold hard fact." NCSoft/Paragon Studios are the only ones who can provide "cold hard fact" like that.
This is just plain stupid... I come on here because I just wanted to bring to attention something that my coalition has been talking about and all I get are people that have to be RUDE and NASTY about it for the most part. Yeah I know not everyone is gonna agree with me, but do ya'll have to be RUDE???
The reason I was even trying to make a point about the transfers is because when you sit down and think about hey do I move to a new server... a few of the leaders in the coal had thought why don't we start over and make a big SG on another server... There were alot of things to think about with that situation and I can't get past the whole thought of throwing away all the hard work I put into the SG... I know people help make the prestige yeah but who else besides the leaders throw contests and give away infamy and prizes... I know not all SGs do that but I have put Billions of Infamy and time into making My Sg the best it can be.. Not only for myself, but for the other people that play on it.... I know I am not the only person who has had these thoughts since the free server transfers came up.... if transfers weren't free we wouldn't have ever talked about moving... I am not trying to get them to change the game... I just want them to look at the idea. It was a suggestion and as a paying customer I am allowed to make suggestions...

As I stated previously let it rest,it isn't known what is going to happen in the future,IF there are server merges or not.
Yes,I would love to transfer my vg from Pinnacle to Virtue because I spent alot more time on it then the one on Virtue.But,I'm not going to hold my breath,and I wouldn't care if I lost my sg name either.
As far as the grammar is concerned,yeah it bugs me BUT I'm not going to point it out because that's rude I don't know what your education was like(this isn't a slam so don't take it that way) and I don't like the superior attitude when dealing with people I don't know.If I was you,you made your point so just drop the matter.GL
One minor thing,you might want to try to post in the "Suggestions" section you might get more receptive conversations there.

2) If we're going to talk about a change to the game, we have to talk about all the cases, not just the case of the person proposing it. It may well be that in your case, with your SG and Coalition, there would be no drama and no problems and that everyone would have a voice. That simply would not happen in every instance with every SG. The question is whether or not the development time and potential negatives are justified by the benefits. In this case I don't think they are.
3) "Cold hard fact" may be an overused phrase. In this case, what you have is cold hard perception, not fact. While it may be highly probable that many people took advantage of the free transfers to move to Freedom/Virtue, no player has factual numbers for server or subscriber populations. Personally I've actually noticed an upswing of activity on some of the "low population" servers on which I play, especially Triumph and Victory. That's a fact. No, wait, that's my perception.
