What do the different roleplaying abbreviations mean?
For example?
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Warning: Do NOT take my post seriously. Very drunk. That said...
MRP: I like torture. Pierce me, stab me, burn me with a cigarette, and call me an iguana. I likes it.
ERP: Don't pick up anything off the floor while I'm around.
PBAHWIHSISA: Played By Adolph Hitler While in Hiding Somewhere in South America.
wwwwwwwwwww: I'm an idiot who was trying to run forward while writing a bio.
When in doubt, ask the person who's profile it is. There is no standard of abbreviation. Just because WE thinks it means some thing doesn't mean THEY don't mean it as something else entirely.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
I personally go for OMGRP with a side of BBQRP and occasionally some CPURP.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

Generally,
MRP = Mature Role Play
ERP = Erotic Role Play
but the specifics of MRP and ERP vary greatly from person to person. I tag most of my characters with MRP, meaning that I tend to discuss R rated subject matter.
Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
good luck D.B.B.
IC = In Character
OOC = Out of Character
CR = Character Relations. I haven't seen this used much.
MRPer = "Mature" Roleplayer. Roleplayers that take themselves too seriously IMO. ;P (IMO = in my opinion)
ERPer = Erotic Roleplayer. Because MMOs need more sexual fetishes.
Futa = Um. Try googling it and finding out! D:

Anyway........
I wrote "IRP" on one character, but folks who see it probably see it as "I like to Role Play", signifying that yes, the player will speak in character.
I intended it to mean the opposite of the Rated R "Mature RolePlay" with the swearing and violent themes and such. "Immature Role Play" was going to be Rated PG. No swearing, no sex.
But this was on a 4-foot Brute named Terrible Two who dressed in a red one-sie with a star on the front and some dirty bare feet. So I figured that the character would be pretty obvious in where RP with them would stand.
I don't think the abbreviation ever caught on, so I don't expect to see it on anyone else.
Thanks for the replies. I deduced the meaning of ERP by the fact that so many female characters included "NO ERP" in their descriptions; MRP is the one I see the most that I couldn't figure out. I think I've seen others less frequently.

I see a lot of different roleplaying abbreviations in players' character descriptions. What do they all stand for?
