Or another option is that you could use the free server transfers at the moment to move characters that you don't play anymore off server to make room for your future altitis.

I'm in the same boat as Sarg. I don't have any Alts that I don't play just some that are not used as much.

How about "Combine the lists and give the EU players free transfers afterward?" (I'm NA.) It's one thing here, if someone absolutely refuses to try another of our 11 servers. You guys are in a completely different boat with a lot less choice.
Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

i think he means 50 total. which wouldn't be a bad idea. that way if you wanted to take 1 of each AT to the other side you could without sacrificing/switching one of the toons you already made.
a multiple of 12 seems more likely..

good point cat... i also maybe see this being an idea they work on when server mergers happen way down the road.

I would love more slots on a server. I've maxed out on 2 accounts and are working on filling the next one.

I'm in the same boat as Sarg and a EU player. I don't have any Alts that I don't play, most of them still need to make it to 50, just some that are not used as much 
Same as Sarg and uther, although I do play in both EU English speaking servers, in the sense that I still play with all my 50s (currently 15, but 2 moar incoming), so moving them to make free spots or deleting them is just a BAD idea.
/signed the idea regarding giving more free slots when GR is realeased, either increasing the max. purchasable or included in the actually available ones.

Just to satisfy my curiosity, to the EU gang that's been chiming in, you guys/gals have filled all 36 slots on your preferred servers?
Don't get me wrong. I'm all for increasing the number of free slots, the number of purchasable slots and combining the EU/NA server lists so everyone gets more slots/servers for their money.
Yep, have 33 toons on Defiant and 3 more planned.
I'm on 30 atm with at least 4 in the planning stage. This without taking into account GR

I was at 36 on my main account on triumph (and 20ish on my 2nd), I deleted a couple and moved several into retirement on another server.
I'm now set for GR

Started a thread on this myself - totally agree with Sarg - I have all 36 slots filled on Defiant and would love to take the limit up in multiples of 12. With the immenent arrival of GR - just who do I delete? How am I supposed to try all the power combinations I have not tried yet?
Maybe one of the Devs can enlighten us if this is even possible..... was the limit of 36 slots per server deliberate?

Apologies to you all if this topic has been discussed before.....
It was great when the number of character slots on the servers was increased. However my altitus means that I now only have three slots available on Defiant. These last slots I've reserved for a Widow, Demon Summoning mastermind and a Dual Pistol blaster which will mean that I'll either have to start deleting toons if I want to try something else (which I'd prefer not to do); start playing on another server (which I don't want to do since the community on Defiant is a good one); or start paying for a second account (which the bank balance can't afford).
From chatting with a number of fellow players it seems that I'm not the only one in this predicament, so my suggestion to the Dev's is pretty please < grovel, grovel > can you incorporate into GR an increase in the maximum number of character slots on an account for each server to 50.
