5 things that would make Jetboy a happy camper in 2010

1) No-Cost Drops for "introduction" missions. Don't even have to give me the reward, just a button that says "Already met them, Thanks"

2) Retro Powers and Costume Pieces: Ray-guns (Alt animations for sets like energy blasts, cold blasts, etc), Bubble Helmets, Jetpacks (not a temp power just an alt animation or costume piece that works with fly), Retro costumes (space suit, "Ming" robes, Super/Bat brief/shorts, Wristbands). Put it in a "Retro Booster" and I'll even pay!

3) Alternate "Solo" missions for those "must have a team to accomplish" missions in arcs.

4) A good long look at the Kheldens.

5) New Low and Mid-Level content on "both" sides of the fence. You guys did *such* a good job with the Blueside "Cape" mission revamp... don't let Going Rogue be the excuse to put off what should have been done long ago.

and for bonus points:

6) Villianize the Villian-side! City of Villians has suffered for way too long on the content end of things. Lets give players a reason to WANT to come to the the dark side, before the GR "exodus" (Justice League of Brutes and Masterminds, anyone?) finally kills redside completely.

It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets

... Hit it ...

I strongly agree with number 6. I actually want my villains to have a team! Why would I have my VEAT hop on the band wagon and become Operative Jerico: Your Friendly, Neighbourhood Crab Spider? >.>

1) Full agreement. Absolutely need these.
2) I'd probably use a few of these, especially the jetpack.
3) I was unaware there were missions that couldn't be completed without teams. Sure, there's some with AVs, but when scaled down to Elite Bosses, they're certainly viable.
4) Never tried Kheldian. I'm mostly redside. No Comment.
5) As nice as that'd be, we're getting it in GR, so we'll see what happens there. For now, there's AE.

6) Oh gods, yes. We need so much more redside than there is now. Hopefully GR will help make redside desirable.

There are a few where there are multiple glowies that must be clicked at the same time, those are literally impossible to complete by yourself no matter how GODLY your AT/Powers/Build.

Not to mention at least 1 of them is timed.

Unfortunately there are apparently clipping problems with having permanent jetpack costume pieces . Regarding ray-guns what I'd like is for the pulse rifle's that robotics MMs get to be expanded into a full blast set and add a few classic ray-gun style skins to them.

Yes to this suggestion, in this form or in another, similar form already requested. Perhaps make it an account-wide thing. Run the "introduction" mission once, get a flag on the account where in the future where the contact (I'm looking at you, Lt. "KR->AP->Hollows" Wincott!) just show up in the contact list.
Or just turn them into contacts that drop immediately into the contact list. *starts dreaming*
I can see it now. L40+ Hero sees his Hero Corps representative often enough to tweak his reputation that he has his 'PR agent' on his cell phone's speed dial.
"Hello, Morty? Yeah, I'm looking at busting up some Council. Be sure to put in a word at the Paragon Daily Bugle and with Channel 4 that I'm on a big anti-fascism thing. And have you gotten me any more endorsements yet? I'd like to be more than just the spokesperson for that electric grill and that topical ointment. It's not like spandex chafes that much anyway."

Heck yeah!

Yes. Or just drop the "multiple glowies clicked simultaneously" portion of non-TF missions. Or accept that the mission drop feature will be used for this.
Haven't seen this redside, and the last time I got one offered Blueside, it was labelled in advance, which is an improvement from the old days.

No real opinion. Not opposed, but I don't play Kheldians.

Some of the really old blueside content could really use a re-do. In particular, earlier cell phone access, and having the missions in the same zone as the contact when it makes sense to the arc's storyline.
Some of it has already been tweaked. In the old days, the "Rescue the Fortune Teller" mission was in the deepest part of the Perez maze. Nowadays, it's always at the edge of the forest. Other missions in the zone tend to be in the strip of buildings, when they they used to be in the maze as well.

Anything in particular?
It could use a SF or two and maybe one more zone perhaps, IMO.

Interesting list.
And those things each would tend to be more positive, than negative.

However . . .

If each of those things really do represent 16.6% to 20% of the requirements for your happiness,

I expect that your happiness meter may not reach 25% this year.

(Number 4 might be a likely . . . Any of us can look at anything as long as we like.)
