Thanks for the review folks, I put in my responses in TF: Mutternacht's thread. It was very kind of you to take a look at it. I feel a little bad that I didn't clear spoilers, since it was obvious you guys really wanted to engage the plot issues. I don't feel bad at all about the 3 star rating. The emotional response was so intense that as an author I really can't ask for more out of a player.

Thanks for the good reviews. guys.

A 5 star and a... err... 4.58-4.75 star.

About Bloody Vicious... I didn't consider that people might attempt to solo him with a tank class. Did you just reach a point where he wasn't hurting you, but you weren't hurting him either and just timed out?

Again, thanks. I appreciate the kind words.

Yup, that's pretty much the case. He did get me when Unstoppable crashed, but I'd only fired that up for the recovery boost.

Actually, the archives are back up and running, so you can get it from the KJSR main site.

Also! The last major function of the site is now working, so I'm going to spend some time today getting all the reviewed arcs out of the 'pending' list. It looks like the list is going to be fairly empty once I'm done, so send in those arcs! EDIT: The QUeue is clear, and there are only two waiting to be selected.

Cool, got a chance to listen to it and glad you enjoyed the arc. Heh, I must note that the party was the girls' idea as opposed to Abiter Sands since if it was his idea the motives would seem a little questionable.

Just a quick reminder, the queue is completely empty, with the three arc currengly on the 'upcoming' list currently being run for review. If you have an arc you want to submit, now's the time to do it!

Interesting music on the show, now that I've figured out how to listen to it! Well, I know the rating of one of the DJ's, courtesy of the comments I got. Let's see how it all plays out!

Thanks again for taking the time to play through the arc to all of the Aentertainment Tonight staff who did.

I'm trying to mix in some other music, since I already have Get Tanked on Fridays, I'm trying not to overdose my listeners on Heavy music. Though if you folks prefer I stick eith the heavy stuff, let me know here and I'll keep going. Honestly, I still hold out hope that someday the show can be run without needing nearly as much music, but that's another matter.

Thanks for the favorable reviews for Against The WickerWork Khan guys. It was kind of you to go ahead and not give spoilers as well, even though I didn't mark that.

To address one thing: the 'boss' in the final mish was an EB, not a run-of-the-mill boss. I had thought to set it as an AV but I thought two back-to-back AV battles might be a bit much for some. It also more closely reflects canon that way, as I understand it to be. I can understand how you'd find it less-epic-than-the-last, though, I did consider that but ran with it this way after some thought. I tend to favor story-flow when it comes to issues like this.

Again, thanks!

Well, you can increase the 'epicness' with more than just AV status. You might consider adding objectives, like having to fight through guards before spawning the end boss, or having the final EB set to extreme while the AV was a lower difficulty. That way, the second mission will be tough, but the final one would be difficult.

I took these comments into consideration and implemented most of them, FYI. Yes, I work slowly. :P

My apologies for the late announcement, but AE Tonight is on the air at the time of this post reviewing The Flower Night Task Force, and The Christmas We Get, as well as the new batch of Guest Author arcs. It will be available on the KJSR archives shortly after the show is finished.

Thanks for the good review, glad you liked it!

It's certainly interesting to hear all the different takes on Ramiel.

Oh, and there's no danger of this being taken down any time soon.

Thanks for reviewing A Warrior's Journey - The Flower Knight Task Force!

I laughed at your description of how Chimera picks his secret bases -- yeah, I did pick that map to be similar to the place you normally find Chimera in the official content.

In answer to your question about Mako and Black Scorpion, yes, they are the same custom model, with a slightly different description for each. My original idea was to create four custom AVs to replace all the patron AVs, but that took too much disk space (custom characters are resource hogs!). I ended up re-using the standard Ghost Widow and Scirocco models to save space, but felt the Mako and Black Scorpion models were too out-of-theme for the feudal Japan setting, so gave them a custom AV model. Unfortunately I didn't have quite enough space to give them different custom models, unless I cut something else.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the reviews and the ratings.

- Regarding the newspaper font that Abrahms mentioned was hard to read, it has been altered to removed the size and bold formatting and has been simply recolored to yellow. Though it looks less distinctive to me, (as far as being obviously and significantly different from the other text styles), enough beta players mentioned that it was hard to read to warrant the change. However, that change was made after Abrahm's playthrough, so he never saw it like this.

- Regarding the brutality of the arc, which a few players have also mentioned, obviously there are always stylistic choices you make as a writer. I was writing this for a mature reader, (not of course in the sense that the MAX titles are 'mature,' with loads of gratuitous violence and/or sex), more in the sense that there would be recognizable themes that would be noticed and that would recur throughout. I am not entirely sure if I would want a child to play this arc because its themes are written for people who are old enough to understand and appreciate the gravity of what is happening in this story, but honestly, I do not think many children would choose it over other arcs.

- I am glad that all of you seemed to have enjoyed it, even if Rasta didn't like the level range. I didn't have much choice on that if I intended to enter it into the competition.

Thanks for giving Two Tickets to Westerly a try!

It sounds like you all disliked the big boss's nickname. This seemed to be a common feeling, and I ended up changing this nickname sometime after y'all played it. Your voiced opinions help confirm that this was a good move.

I was a little confused by the comment that Marrowsnap is meant to be a big Skulls overlord or something; I never got that impression from the canon missions I played. Insofar as I can tell, he only appears in the first mission of the Bonefire arc, where he's raiding the Hellions for some kind of magic robe. Is there somewhere else that I missed, that refers to him as being supreme Skull lord?

I can sympathize with the feeling that the 5-10 level range was rather limiting. If I had developed this independently of the contest, I probably would've opened it up to at least level 14, or whatever the Skulls maximum level is. I'm afraid the contest terms completely dictated the level range, though.

Anyway, thanks again for your comments!
