In any case, I'll be there and I will do my best to follow your instructions.

Geni
Ok general run down of how this is going to work. We start out with all teams how they are normally ran. We clear the first set of mitos. The MM stream is still going. At that point I will coordinate between the MM leader and the taunt team leader for a brute to take over taunting. Once that brute has hami aggro the MM stream will close down and join the rest of the spike team.

2 Brutes will be cycled in to taunt hami. One dies, the other one is running in. Just like how we do on blueside except being all the mitos are dead. We will not do anything at this point until that team is stable. We may possibly have to adjust and have another brute or 2 to cycle in. I know nothing about brutes so I am not sure how long they will last or if it will be long enough for the dead brute to be tp'd, rezzed, buffed and sent back in.

So once that team is stable everyone but the hami taunt team will gather on one side of hami. The hami taunter will be on the other side of hami. At this point I will call for single target buffs only.

This is where everyone needs to pay extra close attention to instructions.

This is the order of instructions so that everyone will know in advance what to expect. The following instructions will be one right after the other and all be done in less than one minute.
  1. Do not attack or debuff hami at all.
  2. Aoe buffs fired off (A.m., etc.)
  3. Warburg buff nukes (I will call for certain teams only to fire them)
  4. Warburg debuff nukes (I will call for certain teams only to fire them)
  5. Yellow taunters run out quickly and get in position ready to taunt yellow aggo off of us, this includes their support team.
  6. EVERYONE Pop an EOE and a Break free.
  7. I will then call for permanent AT pets to be brought out. (imps, jack, drk servant , thugs, bots etc.)
  8. Shivans, Mechs, any other temp pets out. (Including taunters, yours can help keep some extra mito aggro off of us.
  9. Attack hami with everything you have. Please have either accrobatics on or hover during this. The KB will be bad. When you are kb'd you can not attack.
  10. Warburg buff nukes (I will call for certain teams only to fire them)
  11. Warburg debuff nukes (I will call for certain teams only to fire them)
  12. Hami should be dead here if everything goes right.
  13. Collect your reward and have a fabulous evening.
I will be running this raid on LES's vent and will give out the vent info at the time of the raid. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to hop on. All I ask is that during the important parts we keep the side chatter to a minimum so team leads can coordinate.

It is really a toss up. I need 2-4 more brutes than we normally need for a raid. Then again we also need a few extra healers and kins. So its about equal in need this time.

Anyone who has a brute, kin, pain or therm please bring them as a priority.

Okay Kat, I've gotten everything on both my fire/kin corr and my fire/dark corr -- I'd prefer my dark but if you need kins that works for me!

Nice try guys. First mito phase went incredibly quick. We just didnt have enough damage to get hami in the end it seems. I don't take failure very well though so stay tuned and we will give this another attempt in a few weeks.

Nice job everyone who was there tonight and great job Kat putting this together and leading us.

It's disappointing that we couldn't finish this off, but we'll be ready next time.

I'm not sure it could have been done that way anyway since there were 3 sets of mitos spawned.

Just some thoughts:

After the mitos are down, let all non-attacks get thier hits.
Give the Hami Taunt brute some EoEs (because they will need them during the successive blooms.
Summon MM and HVAS pets (all perma pets) outside the jello.
Drop 3 Bio nukes.
Yellow taunters go to positions as attackers jump to Hami.
Drop 3 Chem nukes on Hami.
Hope for the best.

I think if we could have put the +450% on the pets (HVAS esp) we could have had enough burst to drop Hami.
Also, the hami taunt brute fell after the second bloom. Even with PainBringers it was too much spike damage without any EoEs (He/She was out of EoEs before we started attacking).

Great job everyone and thanks Kat for running it! We'll do it next time.

My team (Yellow Taunt #1) did an amazing job! You guys were awesome especially getting back into place in time for the subsequent blooms.

Considering how effortless it was for us to take down the mitos on the first run, I think it bodes well for future regular Redside Hami raids.

Until next time.

It was certainly a good try. All the teams did great during the first wave, my team (yellow spike) took down the yellows pretty fast. Although, when we were taking down the other mitos I was mostly explaining to the Brutes with taunt on my team what to do.

And I agree Net that the taunter should have started with more EoE's, but I gave them 5 more or so before we actually started attacking Hami. All in all I had a good time regardless and I will gladly help out again whenever we try this again.

During my nap just now I figured out what all we need to do differently to make it work villain side. A few small adjustments and we will have it. Those interested in doing it again go ahead and get your goodies. I will schedule it again in a few weeks.

I will gather up more nukes and HVAS, I shot my Nuke off in Mercy afterwards since I was being bounced around to much to get it off.

Good ideas for next time, Net.

What sucks about the hami-taunting brute not having EoEs, is that I brought 40 of them into the zone and passed them out to yellow-taunting brutes and support and while the conversation was going on in vent about taunting hami, i was making sure my yellow-taunting brutes were going to back in position for the yellow spawns. I think I used two or three EoEs total of the 20 i had on my brute, so it turned out I had plenty that I could have passed on to the hami-taunting brutes beforehand.

At least we know for next time that we don't exactly need as many EoEs as we initially thought we might (in the 150+ range ... a total over-calculation on my part) but I've got more than a hundred stored for the next raid.
