Question About Teams
It's been my experience that for most part, teaming goes on within supergroups. Your best bet is to find and join an active supergroup. Outside of the various supergroups, I do not know of any nightly static teams. That would be difficult between people's various schedules and the weekly scheduled server activities, such as the Hamidon and mothership raids.

Thanks for the advice.
Any idea on what the most active supergroups are on hero side?
Erm... from the top of my head, DarkGuard, Justice Force, High Society Order, and United Heroes Brigade are some of the bigger supergroups I've teamed with. I'm sure there are others out there that I'm forgetting though.

Don't limit yourself to just teaming within a supergroup, because most of them aren't that large, to be honest. There are a few mega groups, with several branches in their coalition, but there are many more that consist of just a smaller group in it's core with several more folks that come and go, or even smaller groups that are pretty tight-knit, or even just an individual and all of their alt characters.
Join one of the many global chat channels, and you'll find teams just about any time you want, doing just about anything you're looking for. There are several channel moderators on these forums that would be more than happy to shoot you an invite to a channel, if it's a private one, or you can just do a channel search by right clicking on TAB in your chat window, and joining a public one. SGs are good for consistency once you get to know a few folks, but for general teaming, I find that channels are better. Your SG mates aren't always on, but there's always a sizeable group on the chat channels...plus they work cross-server, so if there's folks that have alts spread out across the game, you'll always find someone to play with.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
The channels idea sounds cool, I'm just afraid I won't get many teams there because I will just be starting out at level 1 tonight, so too low for anything.
I say don't hesitate to join PUGs, too. The quality can vary from disastrous multiple full-team wipes to steam-rolling juggernauts that mow down mission after mission, but I tend to have lots of fun on PUGs. Don't expect them to be perfect, just enjoy them as they are. And if you're not having fun, then just wait for a good opportunity, tell 'em something like "Okay, I'm going to go do other things now. Have fun, y'all!" and quit. You don't have to make up excuses, or tell 'em they suck, or anything else. Just pick a good time to leave, and do so.
If you put "PST" or "Please Send Tell" in your search comment (open your team window when you're not on a team), then most people will send you a tell with at least a brief description of what they're doing before they send an invite. You'll still get the occasional blind invite, but the comment really cuts down on those.
OTOH, I occasionally accept even a blind invite that turns into a great time!
Welcome to the game!
Hey Balefire. I'll send you a pm about some SG's you may want to look into and a couple of really good global channels for Champion. Have fun!!

Like the other groups mentioned above- the Hammers of Justice is a very active sg, and has a redside group as well. There are a lot of people on in the evenings and we have an active coalition chat, vent, and teams running.

This is an easy one, use Request channel (small "r" on your chatbar) and say "Can someone help me team please! or Is anyone from AOW on?"
There are many great supergroups on, as you stand in atlas, watch broadcast, and team you will start seeing many of the same names and people. Strike up a conversation with them and get involved. You will soon find people you like. That's the SG for you, same goes redside.
ALL-OUT-WAR is a massive SG (11 divisions) with tons of great team oriented heroes who are very active. We are constantly looking for and badgering team players to join us. We are a community SG, not a private club, so do not be afraid to jump on as many teams with as many people as possible. AOW always has something going on!
Our VG ALL-OUT-WAR-DOMINATION is now active and ready to help team as well.
As for your first question: Champion is the Community Server, you will find many, many great heroes who love to team and many fantastic SG's that are very active. HAMMERS ROCK! Hiya UC
And if you don't to be in a SG, there are plenty of people running around rampant and bored at ALL hours of the night and into the wee hours of the morning, though the morning hours many people are not doing a lot of TF's and such if that is something you look for at morning hours.
Welcome to the Champion server Balefire! Lots of good suggestions in this thread for SGs. My advice, take your time, team with different heroes from different SGs to get a feel for what they are like before signing up with an SG. That way you will find the best fit for you and your play schedule.

I teamed with folks for a while before choosing a SG; though there are TONS of great people here on Champion, so the choice was/is an easy one to make.
Get involved on the server channels (BMT, whatever) and see who you like to team with when TF-ing or teaming up.
Look at their websites and check them out.

Welcome to the game or at least the Champs server.
dont just take an invite to a SG that gets tossed your way. Some just spam invites and are not always the ones you want to join.
Broadcast if your on a piad account works for seeing if anyone else is starting a few toon.
Tfury list of channels and SG should be a good starting point.
as stated above, be willing to join pugs, they can be anything from lots of LOL to death in a basket (I made a couple of game friends from Pugs). Nothing is impossible and you dont need X AT to make something work. Debt has a Cap and it can more more of a chalange to keep your toon at the cap than killing things.

Nothing saids its your spot like an ourob. Portal dropped on the ground.
I am still messing around with a few low level toons before I dive right in. But I will definitely be looking for some teaming action once I get it figured out.
Hope I see you all in game!

I am a semi-new player and I was wanting to make a toon on this server. My question is:
Are there many hero-side teams/groups that play nightly? I see several threads for static teams but I would like more regular, nightly play on the toon I'm making.
So is there much team activity on this server hero-side that won't have me in constant bad PuG's and bad SG's?
