Confirmation on spawning bugs?

So has anyone heard a confirmation that the developers know of the spawn bugs?

A +1 boss and 6 +1 minions (arachnos) is a little crazy on a duo. Or the 4 Lts. and 4 minions in a spawn.

Or are we just supposed to suck it up and keep fighting the mobs until we beat them through stubborness?

I'm tempted to just take a break for a few months and hope they fix things. Because this isn't fun.

Old heroic settings. +0/x1. Both of us.

Trust me, the spawns we've been running into should not be duos. And no, they aren't overlapping spawns either. It's been this way for about six to eight weeks.

It's been brutal for my friend (new player) and I (crusty old Vet).

I've not seen what you are describing, but don't doubt your experience. What missions are you seeing this in? Are they papers, or specific contact missions, or everywhere? Live or Ouroboros? You should submit bug reports with specific /whereami and /loc information so that QA can try to track down what it is you're experiencing. It sounds completely foreign to me, I'm afraid. Good luck with it.

A smattering of anything we've been doing as a duo. Paper missions (level 40 Arachnos last night. Let me tell you that 3x lts. + the minions or boss was not fun). Trick or treating. Normal missions.

It does seem to be mostly duos. I'd hope it doesn't have anything to do with vet vs. newbie. I know it doesn't have anything to do with level.

Trick or Treating and getting bosses+lts. on a duo at level 7 absolutely sucked.

Had the strangest thing on my level 16 SS/Invul Brute today.

Logged him on, made some costume and power color changes, went into the mission he had pending ... and there were No Mobs at all for him. He waltzed in, found the hostage just standing there by himself, and walked out with him.

I once encountered a group of three lieutenants and five minions, solo, on heroic. Suffice to say, I was forced to eat a lot of purples.

ToTing didn't follow the normal spawning rules. The high number of lts and bosses was intentional so that they weren't rare which would make getting the badges for their defeat inordinately difficult.

WRT other spawns in regular missions: Once you got two people on the team, you'll get bosses. That's WAI. What wasn't working as intended was the lack of bosses over a large swath of factions for teams of 6 or less for the past two years.

If the current number of lts and boss spawnage is too difficult for you, then lower your difficulty to -1/1.

Your reputation obviously preceded you. (And once inside, your reputation must have proceeded to beat the living s#@! out of everything in sight.)

A boss, 2 lts and 2 minions should never spawn for a heroic duo. Especially at 7th level.

This is not a case of 'your are doing it wrong.' This is a case where something is broken.

I explained why you get that with Trick or Treating. I've offered suggestions to the Devs for altering that. So, I'm not disagreeing with you in this specific case.

But in this thread you're constantly mixing up different situations and saying it's all broken, but it's not. ToT is an outlier case for a specific reason, but it's not the situation everywhere. Stop muddying things.

And Zombie is saying that ToTing is irrelevant to your case as it is NOT part of the ordinary rules of spawning enemies... so stop bringing it up.

Now, as to your issues... I have not noticed any issues, and I am almost always on a duo when I play.

That is really weird. Could it have something to do with the ages of the accounts? That shouldn't make a difference though.

Though I can't guarantee it... I can't think of any logical reason why that would have an impact. In fact, it would be downright stupid if it were the case.

Perhaps you guys were just playing against factions that were tailor made to counter whatever sets you were using, and thus the number of enemies seemed way more significant all of a sudden?

No, we were noticing them (and occasionally face-planting.) Arachnos and Longbow always suck rocks, less wiggle room.
