Slotting Grant Cover?
I'm only leaving the default slot in and still trying to decide between the LotG +7.5% recharge or the Cystoskeleton. As far as I'm aware you can't enhance the defense debuff resistance.
City of Data backs that up here: http://www.redtomax.com/data/powers/...se.Grant_Cover saying that the resistance ignores enhancements and buffs.

Depends on your playstyle.
If you plan to always be on big teams and want to give your teammates the biggest buff possible then 2 or 3 slot it for defense.
If you just got it for the debuff resistance and you want your slots elsewhere then just put a defense or end red or lotg global in the base slot.

Def buff does indeed enhance the DDR(at least the Combat Attributes reflect it). Also, recharge enh will buff Recharge Debuff Resistance!

No, Def Buff definitely DOES NOT enhance the Resistance granted by Grant Cover. You may be thinking of Battle Agility or Active Defense in which slotting DOES effect resistances.

My Shielder is taking Grant Cover for the defense debuff resistance. Any reason to slot more than the default slot? I put a def buff IO into it and it did not appear to increase DDR at all.

Anyway, I figure the small boost to end cost and def is enough, and not much more is needed. I've noticed having it on makes a big difference for my teammates on Rikti Mothership Raids.

Just verified that the Rech Resistance is in fact enhanced. Currently on my SD/DM tank I have GC slotted for LotG +Rech, LotG Def/End and LotG D/E/R. What's good about that is that the LotG triple boosts GC's Rech Res from 30% to 34%. Not much, but fully enhanced we're talking about 60% Rech Res.

I still find it kind of odd that scrapper/brute Grant Cover is enhanceable for DDR, but the Tanker one isn't.
Tankers still end up with slightly more DDR base (before HamiOs). It could have been on purpose to avoid them having too much, or it could be an accident and it should be enhanceable like the brute/scrapper version.
Mostly, I wish a Dev would say one way or the other if the tanker lack was on purpose.
I consider this power a pretty iconic power.
A tanks job within the team is to protect the team. What better way than adding defense to your allies.
Smart scrappers will certainly take advantage of this power when a tank is using or at least lets their team know that they are using it.
I'm not certain of the max amount of defense that can be granted, but recently I was checking numbers on a tank ally I was teaming with and they were providing 17.76% to anyone being effected.
That's a pretty large amount of defense.
So I would definitely recommend slotting for as much defense as you can get out of it. You can't always stop the team from getting hit, but even attacks you can't prevent can still have a significant chance of missing with that much extra defense being provided to your team.
Where/how are you seeing the Defensive Debuff Resistance being enhanced Caulderone? Or are you going off Derangedpolygot's comment?

It's NOT slottable for DDR. Where are you getting that idea?

Look at City of Data (redtomax) and in game at the power info.
Tanker = GC DDR [ignores enhancements & buffs]
Scrapper/brute = GC DDR
Tankers GC is NOT enhanceable for DDR, brutes/scrappers is.

If I take GC at all (depends on build, I have a handful of shielders), I'll 1 slot it with a LoTG 7.5%
