Bugged Ouro badges?

I've tried a few times for the Gold Medalist badge and the Headstrong badge

For the Headstrong the criteria is (according to Badge Hunter)

Quote:
Badge Info: Complete a flashback story arc between level 15 and 19 while under constant debuff to earn this badge.
I've not been awarded the badge, is this a bug, is the info at BH correct or is there some other cause for failure to award both badges?

Have you done story arc or badge mission? Badge mission doen't give challenge badges.

What arc did you try to run ?

'Badge missions' don't award the challange badges.

Examples:
15-19 Blueside
'The Vahzilok Plague' awards the badges
'Vahzilok Wasting' Disease does not

I recommend Jim Tremblor or Penny Yin.

15-19 redside
All of those listed in the crystal should award the badges.

Ah ok. I *think* I tried it on one of the badge missions. Plague Stopper might well have been one of them

I'll experiment. Thanks for the tip.

In order to earn the badges the Story Arc MUST be 3 missions or more.

I've just tried it on Wincott's arc which was one hunt for 10 trolls and 2 Outcast base missions. I missed the time but still dind't get the award for being under constant debuff.

I've used that arc several times for my lower Ouro badges because it seemed to be the fastest. I even used it for Gold Medalist. It should be working. Either that or they changed the way it works, and maybe the hunt doesn't count? That seems silly though.

my one thought is that I'd set the parameters to be under constant debuff and gold time.

I missed the gold time so would that affect the other? Seems odd if it did

Wincotts arc should award challange badges.

(Note Wincott is 1-15 and should award Venturous, not the Headstrong mentioned in the OP. Check if you already have it)

I got most of mine from it, and its highly recommended for doing so.

Try one of the other challanges (say enemy buffed) on the same arc, to see if it is that particular challange badge is the issue.

Losing the timer challenge should still award you the other challenges.

It's also the arc suggested in High Beam’s Flashback Badging Guide (Hero), so I don't see why it shouldn't work for you, unless they changed the way it works.

Have you call your contact after arc was completed? Time dialog appears as soon as last mission of arc is completed, but badges are awarded after you called your contact.

NOT a useful guideline. "The Redemption of Alexander" is a 3 mission arc and it does *NOT* count for the challenge badges because it is a 'badge mission' (Redeemer badge).

Just putting this out there: As a general thought, don't do the Silver or Gold time challenges with others unless you already have the Silver or Gold.

Do them by themselves. The reason should be self-evident as the other challenges make getting the arc done on time harder.
