Hah i'm in! You're all doomed now! mew-hahahhaa!
also, holy upload heck... 125 new deviations O.o
Woke up this morning and discovered my inbox had been kekekekekekeke Zerg rushed by all the new submissions. Ah well, added all my pixel manipulations to the group, and will get around to adding fanfics too.
My one gripe is that it won't let me submit stuff from my scraps, which is where I keep all my character references and screenshots and junk. I guess I shall have to sit and wait until that gets beta'd out.

Sorry, from what I read in your post, it sounded like you were planning on submitting your deviations to the group page exclusively rather than on your gallery first.
I know it can get spammy with all the alerts. If it gets too much you can always turn off message alerts. hopefully the group will generate enough activity that you can pretty much expect something new to be there every day.
Ah k, i was worried that stuff would auto add to the group, then i will just stick to my original account, and start adding stuff...

What I meant was. I am only going to post the stuff that I did on the group.
While I have several commissions and gift art of my characters I will leave it up to the artists to submit it to the group.
You CAN add things from Scraps. They do not show up in the list of choosable Deviations, but if you type the title of the Scrap you want to submit into the included Search box and search for it, it will show up and be selectable. Since all game screenshots including your character reference shots should be in Scraps anyway and not in your main gallery, this is an important thing to know, so your references can be submitted!

What happens is a message will go to the artist who submitted it and ask him if they'd like to have their work posted in the gallery.

I would just make a screenshot and reference category in my gallery and put them there.

My next work will be done for the holidays because, well, it's a gift, but a beautiful CoH-related gift that I'll sub once it's delivered. I'll be subbing some of my previous works to the gallery as well

Ack, accidentally placed one of my drawings in the Screenshot gallery. Sorry for the mistake 
Wish there were an easier way to submit multiple deviations to the same folder at once. Eh well, it only matters for the first round - everything after will be subbed as it's published

Since I have the "Your Gallery" button highlighted when I search, it only will bring back results that are actually mine - so if someone else had drawn Eldrix and posted her, that piece would not show up. The end result is no more annoying to deal with than sifting through your entire gallery like you would have to had you not used the search, and more likely, it'll be less annoying since you have less to sift through. Assuming you know the title of your own scrap, it's cake.
I think i had a slight case of user error. Submitted some artsies and they all went itno screenshots. Oh well.
There's a drop-down menu at the top of the contribution window where you can choose which gallery your submissions go into. By default, it's set to "screenshots."
Ouch. Cleanup on Aisle 10.

Ok, I submitted my one (and only) piece of Fan Art.... but for some reason it ended up in Screenshots, when I meant for it to go into Team-Ups...
err... whoops

Yeah...no matter what folder you're in when you pick the "submit to this folder" button, it defaults to screenshots. Make sure you go back and pick the right one
Yup, on the top of the submisions popup, there's a pulldown for the catagories. Default seems to be screenshots, but you can easily select any other.
