And since you'll probably want to pick up phase it will be even easier. Keep in mind healing flames can take a res kb io as well.

In my own Fire builds I typically go for 4 KB proc IO's.

One Resist IO on Plasma Shield
One Resist IO on Temperature Protection
One Defense IO on Combat Jumping
One Defense IO on Weave

While leaving a Proc slot on Fire Shield for Aegis Stat protection.

Aside from Reich's, very little in the game can knock my Fire's around.

You two seem to fail to see what section you're posting in. This is for PvP. Although 2 kb IO's is more than enough for PvE, you need at least 41 points of KB protection in PvP or you'll get thrown all over the place.

As said, you can hit 41 pretty easy.

Fire Shield - 4
Plasma - 4
CJ - 8
SS - 4
SJ - 4
Healing Flames - 4
Acro - 9

That leaves you with 37, you can likely fit one more in depending on your 4th power pool (Especially if going for Phase) or other power picks.

Temp Protection gives you another place to slot one, as would Stealth and Grant Invis. Yes, you'll want Temp Protection (extra slow resist - between that, the Winter's Gift IO, and all the inherent PvP debuff resists getting thrown around, you can hit 70-90% slow resistance before DR pretty easily). You'll probably want Phase as well, just because it will make people absolutely hate you.

I run a Fire/Fire Brute. Getting 41 kb can be a pain. Mine has 23. I get KB'd sometimes, but not enough that I want to use any more slots

CJ - 4
Plasma - 4
Fire Sh - 4
Temp Pr - 4
Tough - 4 steadfast 3 Gladiator armor.

I could work in another 4 in SJ, but I haven't gotten the money and that would bring me to 27 pts.

If I got some great drops I could get 6 more points by putting gladiator armor in plasma/fire shield then I am up to 33pts.

The cost to go from 23 to 33 point would be about 1.5 billion.

So my 23 points is good enough.

Funny when you tried to kb my fire tank with power thrust and it didn't do jack (and you got wrek'd son).

Only things that are going to KB you with 41 points (assuming DR is on) are Force Bolt and occasionally Gale. This build has 49 points including Acro, which means even Force Bolt shouldn't be KBing you.
