Second protector not bubbling mastermind

Anyone noticed this? My second protector bot arrived today, but he is not bubbling my mastermind. Everything else gets its two bubbles, I don't.

The second protector bot has never bubbled the mastermind. There's actually good reason for this, as it would be extremely powerful.

I slot my protectors with two defense buff IOs and get just over 11% defense.

ai, I've had a robotic's / dark since CoH launched and I'm pretty sure my protector bots have never double bubbled me.

The protector bots also only get one each, so really only the battle drones and assault bot get double-bubbled. That's not a bug, that's "working as designed".

And if you demand the developers re-think how protector bot shields work, they might just remove double bubbling altogether, so shush!

Mostly because the Prot Bots can't buff themselves.

I think someone told me that once upon a time the MM got 2 bubbles, but it was far too powerful, and that would have been pre-IO's I think. Having 22% defence given from the bots would mean nobody would play anything else and the softcap would be in easy reach on any budget with any secondary.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't they also use Dispersion bubble? I remember looking at their powers and thinking "Hot Dog! They can heal each other and I get myself some Mez Protection." Eventually I realized they had it but didn't use it because it was overpowered for the Bots to get such high levels of defense.

Also, I'd like to echo the others that say Shush! Any attention will be bad attention for Robotics.

Thats what I'm thinking, the last time I played my Bots/Dark was a few months after the release of CoV (before I just restarted about a month ago). I remembered getting two bubbles and it was the **** at lower levels, I guess that just sucks for me then.

Then again, I'm also crying because my Illusion troller can't have perma PA, perma hasten, and two phantasms out at all times with friggin sub 50 single origins anymore.

The ProBots used to double bubble everything. Including the MM, teammates, random allies, etc.

I don't think Dispersion Bubble even lasted a month in closed beta.

God I miss it. But I guess I can understand why they'd rather me be a Bots/Dark MM than a Bots/Dark/FF MM
