A request

I've been asking for years, I thought perhaps I'd put a thread here for us to voice some requests regarding Masterminds. I have a couple. Please add your own!

1) Personal Attacks. It would be nice if every Mastermind had access to at least one good attack that doesn't rely on his pets. I mean, my Bots/FF best shot does around 50 damage when others are doing 200+. I'm not looking for Blaster level damage here, just something with a bit of a punch that doesn't require the use of a vet power. For a genre example, consider Dr. Doom. He uses his bots to fight for him, but he's capable of being a hard hitter himself.

2) Bot Names. It's great that I can rename my bots, but I don't want to have to see the names all the time. Can we get the ability to hide our pet names?

3) Better AI. There are times I want to pull my hair out as I watch ranged attack bots running willy nilly into melee, or watch them running off into multiple mobs, unwilling to follow the order to return. It would also be nice to be able to select a formation for the pets (so they don't all bunch up all the time).

Dr. Doom is a ton more than just a mastermind.

His bots are really just flavor.

Dr Doom maybe wasn't the best example but it would be nice to have some kind of useful attack. Currently I am levelling up a lowbie and hitting for 12 damage is really quite depressing. It doesn't even have to be an attack on decent recharge, just has to be something worthwhile.

The bot names isn't something that has bothered me I must say, but you can hide player names so hiding bot names "shouldn't" be that hard?

And yes, better AI. Formations, a proper 'stay' command, and a switch that lets you prevent pets from running into melee no matter how few ranged attacks they have.

1. You want to encourage even MORE people to make petless MMs?!?

2. I am indifferent

3. No matter how good it is already, I will always agree with "better pet AI" requests

4. Pirate Henchmen!

You CAN position each individual bot using the goto command.
They might even stay there, if you're lucky.

While true, this can be said for almost any character. I mean, ANY Super Strength character in the comics is more than a Tank or Brute can completely emulate. We're speaking in relative terms here.

I wouldn't mind a decent "Last Ditch" attack for when my pets get killed off and it's not feasible to run away.

Pet names don't bother me, and occasionally help me. Still, I'm never opposed to having more options available.

I like the idea somebody I was talking to last night proposed. The ability to toggle which powers your pet use.
I wholeheartedly agree with that, as I would love for my Grave Knights to stop pretending their snipers and actually use the giant-*** swords they have.
But it'd also be useful for instances like when I was fight Deathsurge last night.
My GKs would get killed every minute or so because they'd go into melee and DS would do his thing, killing everything that wasn't a Brute if it was next to him. That's on of those times where I'd actually like for them to play sniper...

That's really only good if you have ranged pets.

The only way I can keep GKs at a range are:
a) They're out of attack range
b) I want them to melee...

there's the option of replacing the mm moves with power pool moves. My ninja mm has air sup, kick and jump kick and tankerminds mostly.
