Going for resistance is very expensive and is probably not the most optimal setup for the amount of infamy that you end up spending. I also worked on max hit points and regen kinda worked out on its own. Workin for defense is probably your best bet for the buck and is WAY cheaper.

I have a brute specifically designed to negate S/L damage.
With one in invinc range I am at 45% s/l defense, and 70% s/l resist.
He's lots of fun on ITFs, pretty much unkillable there.

After playing my fire/Invul with maxed resistance and defense Im finding that Regeneration is way more important than defense numbers. I'm very disappointed in Unstoppable!!! for a tier 9 power it's very skipable. It really needs +regeneration to be worth anything due to the HP/END crash.

I did this on my Inv Tanker and yeah.. unkillable on almost anything. Im glad you are confirming this! Yes the numbers are bassed of Mids and I was very dissapointed to find that my resistances numbers dropped entering a PVP zone/arena. The numbers i posted are of a build that I am 85% done slotting. I will be able to compair mids and in game numbers when done. Currently my S/L resistance numbers go from 76% to 60ish% from PVE to PVP zones
Did you also find Defense numbers lower too, from mids? I havent completed slotting to verify mids and in game totals for defense.

I finished my build last night and my defense numbers were considerably lower in game as well compaired to what Mids calculated. I'm a bit upset cause i built a invul to duel mostly and it only really shines in PVE, and I dont like to PVE anymore. On a good team in RV it does a good job so not totally disapointed. I'll post number when I get home from work.
Please impress me with your defense and resistance numbers for Invul. My brain hurts and im tired of mids.
