So far all my characters who have a pet have the Mekman(the last one). It fit thematically and I like the look of it the most.

I have different selections for different alts based on the concept of the alt or some significance about their journey to 50.
Example: My main and namesake had issues with Rikti Monkeys at one point and it became an inside joke among my friends. He ended up with the Rikti Monkey pet.
One of my other alts ended up with alot of inventions and dabbling in cybernetics in their background/origin, so the Mechman became his pet.

I pretty much ignore these. I don't think any of my characters have them redeemed. Maybe one or two joke alts, but no one serious.

They are all pretty pointless, but if you want one that does more than follow and cross it's arms, take the clockwork pet... He at least randomly emotes.
But really, even the clockwork pet gets boring after a week... I don't think many of my alts still have the non-combat pet on their tray anymore. If I had to pick a favorite, it'd be the clockwork. Seeing it do the /e chicken emote for the first time was priceless.
I use the Mekman on Sci/Tech/Natural characters and the baby demon on Magic/Mutants. The others are kinda fugly, especially the Redcaop and the Rikti monkey.
That's when I even remember to redeem them. And about half the time, I forget to redeem the 48 month buffing pets.

I do have a WS alt like you are talking about.
His name is "The Bigger one" and yes, he and the demon pet look identical except for size.
and they go everywhere together.

Even on the chars that I have redeamed this on, I don't summon it outside of just AP bumming.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

Blazing Leo = He's a fire controller, so he got the Rikti Monkey; it's the cousin of one of the fire imps, that sadly never learned how to burst into flames.
Slicer Leo = He's a Vanguard Recruit (Claws scrapper, specifically made to use the Talsorian claws) so he also got a Rikti Monkey; in his backstory though, it's an animatronic model used to infiltrate Rikti bases for intel.
Fallen Leo = Fire/Fire corruptor, got the demon pet. Backstory is a little fuzzy on that one, just seemed fitting.
Other alts don't have one yet, I have to decide _why_ they're getting it and how it makes sense before I give it to them.

I don't remember the rest and/or I haven't claimed them yet.
