Electric Controllers ???

I'm looking forward to getting Electric Control... As long as it's available for Dominators as well. Once that's released I don't care what comes next as long as it's cool.

Me too I need a second dominator.

Lvl 1: Tesla Cage - single target hold (normalized cast time, recharge, range to match Char)
Lvl 2: Electric Fences - AoE immobilize
Lvl 6: Power Sink - PBAoE self +end, foe -end (possibly Short Circuit here)
Lvl 8: Lightning Field - PBAoE damage aura
Lvl 12: Lightning Clap - Short ranged stun, kb
Lvl 18: Tesla Cages - AoE hold
Lvl 26: Chain Induction Field - essentially recolored Liquefy (from the sonic set)
Lvl 32: Voltaic Guardians - buffed up older brothers of voltaic sentinel, using the Cap Au Diable Gremlin model but recolored. May be like fire imps so 3 pets.
Unfortunately, I think your right and this is what we'll get.
Your second suggestion is much better.

I would probably gues that electric field will be in the mix as well (like stated in an above post). This would not be exactly what i would like (i have an E^3 and never took it).
I really think that electric control will be a visually fun set, and i know i will play it. Will i love it? well probably no but that hasnt stopped me before!

I saw someone mention water based control and time control. I can see water based control being available, but of course alot of work will need to be done for water effects. I cant see much for time control other than -speed. I dont think that would be very fun at all. But that is an ignorant standpoint on it.

I still feel that Grav/Rad does everything a time set would do, and with PC, it even looks like temporal-type effects.

There were a few things I saw as different for a Time Control (or a Time support) set, aside from the usual -recharge debuff. +recharge buff.
-Buffing your teammates so they perform as if they were one level higher (for purpose of acc, damage, def, etc.) and debuffing enemies so they perform one level lower (turning purples into red, for the purpose of acc, damage, def, etc.

-Double Timing, basiclly two of yourself in the same moment, casting the same power in tandem. Like Domination for trollers, but it probably be unncessary when GR hits. Although I still like the idea of having a past version of yourself as a pet. Maybe it uses the powers you had available when you were your current level/2. So when you get it at 32, it fights as a -1 like other pets, but uses the powers you had at 16.

- a sort of Time Out power, sort of a Phase Shift for the entire team that could be the ultimate Oh Shi- button. Buy yourself 30 seconds to rez, recover, or run like hell.

Yes, with Electric Control for dominators plus power customization I can finally bring Gospel to the Rogue Isles! Though I think he will spend more time in Praetoria when Going Rogue hits.

Water Control is way up on my list too. With power recoloring around these days, there are just so many things a water-y looking set could be used for.

I don't think animating water is as hard as it's made out to be, as long as its water in motion. Standing water is, admittedly, much harder to pull off in effect powers.

My fantasy water set might look something like this:

1) Seep - Causes water to seep into an area, eventually covering a radius 25ft around. This slows any enemies in the area and gives them a small chance of slipping. Because the flood is subtle, this power does not notify enemies of your presence.

2) Geyser - Similar to Levitate or Lift. Animation can be borrowed from the fire hydrant spray on bank missions.

4) Deluge - Summons water to rain down over an enemies head. This will hold a creature, but unlike other holds, will cease to function of the creature is knocked far from the source.

6) Refraction Field - You bend water molecules in the air to make light play tricks in an area. This power is similar to Arctic Air, but is placeable, and does not slow or fear enemies. It can, however, briefly confuse them and lower their chance to hit.

8) Whirlpool - Creates a twirling cone of water on the ground. Anything that enters the area is surrounded in a whirlpool twirling the opposite direction, immobilizing it.

12) Water Burst - A "knockup zone" that is basically a blend between Ice Slick and Volcanic Gasses. Affected enemies are thrown into the air instead of knocked down.

18) Gushing Fountain - A version of Bonfire that does no damage to enemies but slightly increases the endurance of any team members nearby. Essentially remix of Bonfire and Spirit Tree with damage removed and health changed to a small amount endurance.

26) Tsunami - Your rise into the air, riding on a wave of water that sweeps foes off their feet. You are able to steer this power for a time before the wave crashes. Enemies you mow down with the wave are knocked down, feared, and stunned. Using this power in tight spaces can be difficult. This power takes the place of Water's AoE hold.

32) The pet.

I just wish they would share some info beyond going rogue.
