Just wondering when devs plan to fix the mouse bug its all ready been over almost a month.
O ps this bug only affects macs. And its really annoying.

Well, it may have been over almost a month since you saw it, but it hasn't been that long since they finally got the information they needed to find out that it is only affecting 1 supported video card. Yes, it is affecting another card, but they clearly stated that that card is not supported before they released the Mac version. Ghost Falcon mentioned this weekend that he was very specific in the wording before it was ever posted because he wanted to avoid people complaining about it later. It apparently didn't help, or at least not to the degree it should have.
During a panel at the Con about bugs, this bug came up as a reference. The actual number of support tickets filed was extremely low. I was rather surprised at how low it was, but I don't remember the number. Also, it took some time for them to get enough information from the players to narrow it down to that one Intel card, sometimes because people were very slow in responding to the requests for information.
Then they had to figure out if it was a problem for Apple, Intel, Cedega (or whoever handles the wrapper) or them (Paragon Studios) to handle and then wait for a fix to be delivered and get an estimated time on that part. They didn't want to post about it until they had that answer since that would have been frustrating for them and the players both to be hanging with a "we know about it but don't know when it will be fixed" answer. Apparently they have a timeframe for the fix now, which will mean they'll have to get a new build ready once it arrives, push it to Test and get people to actually test it, then roll it up for a push to live. But, when you are waiting for a fix from someone that isn't under your control, it's rather difficult to give an exact date for a fix to be ready.
That's not a short process, especially when players don't help by filing support tickets or providing the information they asked for and needed in order to identify exactly where the problem was.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Yeah I was just hoping to get some feedback from the devs. I all rdy have canceled my subscription seeing how I it would be pointless to play a game that made me more frustrated then it was fun. I might come back but I really would have to see a massive change in the devs handling of the game. I know have disappointed so many users.

You're talking about a bug with an unsupported video card (chip). They don't have to waste time fixing things that generally only break on unsupported hardware/software.
If it gets fixed, it's usually only due to needing to fix it for supported hardware/software.
Complaining about a bug with unsupported hardware/software makes no real sense.

I guess I am not use to bugs being in games for over the time I paid for. Most games that I have played before have fixed most major bugs with in 2 weeks.

If people don't tell them it's broken and give them all of the information needed to determine the cause of the problem I find it difficult to fault them for delays in fixing the issue. And when you are looking at who among the 4 companies is responsible for fixing the issue, that takes additional time. And from the small number of tickets that were filed, it's difficult to classify it as a major bug. It's more of an edge case bug due to the very small number of affected players. I'm not saying it's an unimportant bug, just that it isn't what most software companies (game company or other) would classify as major simply due to the small number of affected players.
As an example, I can't fault them for not fixing the Water Effects and Bloom issues that ATI users experience and have been going on for seemingly forever simply because it is outside their control and fully in ATI's bailiwick.
And Agge, I think Forgottenn has an X3100 card (or whatever the model number is) which IS supported. I shouldn't have muddied the waters by mentioning those with unsupported Intel cards.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

The GMA 900 is the unsupported one.

Is it a bad bug, yes, is it a Major Bug, I don't know if I would classify it as that seeing as how few bug reports they had gotten on it, that it affect only 1 supported card, and there is more than just Paragon Studios to deal with on the issue.
Is it major for you? Yes. For that I can understand you being upset about.

I pay my money, devs hate me, waaah.
We all pay our money. Lifes not fair.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

This Mac client was on the Training Room for at least 6 weeks before it went live. During that time, I found one critical bug that would have caused huge problems, and as a result the release was held back to a few weeks after the I16 release.
I'm using an nVidia 9400/9600, and I mistakenly assumed that someone was out there on the training room with an Intel GMA 950 and/or 3100 testing it as well. I watched the I16 beta forums daily, if I would have seen a post about a mouse click bug like that I would have done my best to make sure the release was held back again until it was fixed.
Unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. The Mac client was released because all of us involved (testers, devs, etc) were convinced that the most critical bugs were fixed and the rest were annoyances that could be patched later.
When the new fixed version hits the training room it would be great if some of the people posting to the forums with the mouse bug problem would test it out and make sure it works before it goes live, so we don't have a mess like this again.
