What else are ya playing?
I've always been a PC gamer...I don't find the consoles versatile enough.
I just started Borderlands for the PC yesterday, and I'm loving it! I haven't enjoyed cell-shading until now, and the gameplay is addicting. I'm one level away from being able to use a shotgun that shoots rockets.
Aside from that, I'm really enjoying the new Tales of Monkey Island series from Telltale. They've taken what was so fun from the original point-and-click and turned it into a monthly episodic release.
When I'm not playing those, I'm on CoH.
Final Fantasy Dissidia, Phantasy Star Portable for PSP. And others.
"every defender needs to fight. I don't care if you have to use BRAWL!"
Most of my SG members are currently passing the time until Going Rogue by playing Dungeons and Dragons Online now that they've introduced the free-to-play option. I usually join them over there on Saturdays, but CoH is still my major time sink. After all, there are still power sets I haven't played out to 50 yet. (That and my level 8 trap-monkey Rogue apparently can't solo even level 3 content without having his sneaky little butt handed to him repeatedly. Great on teams, though.)

Outside of CoH I am mostly playing League of Legends, with side ventures into Team Fortress 2 and time-killing with the most recent DS Castlevania and Spelunky (http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=4017.0), the latter of which is basically a cross between Pitfall, Bomberman, and Nethack, and downright brilliant.
I have dabbled a little in D&D Online and was thwarted in my attempts to make a shooty cleric by the regrettable lack of longbows in the tutorial area.
Myself.

I'm playing CO (although probably not for a whole lot longer..too freakin' campy!), and I'll download Torchlight in the next day or two. Going to look into Borderlands, too.
On the horizon, I'll very probably play APB. I've always considered the basic combat mechanics (turn-based, tab targeting, etc.) to be my biggest gameplay gripes with MMOs, so a more FPS/TPS style of combat (realtime, hit box aiming, etc.) is very appealing. So is the completely configurable music player...and the character creator makes even CoH (and Champs) look like an Etch-A-Sketch. The setting is not so appealing to me...don't know how interested I'm going to be in what amounts to "Grand Theft Auto, the MMO."
A lot further out (if at all...Funcom's in trouble) is The Secret World. Everything I ever wanted in an MMO, basically.

Trying to play life but I can't seem to figure it out yet.

Holy Cow, I had no idea so many other people are playing Borderlands.
SentaiYellow (FullAuto88mm), Sentai Kickblast (Kickblast), and I (U2RaTOMATO) are ripping through that game. Well, Yellow and I are ripping through the game, and the 3 of us are hating KB's internet connection.
BEFORE Borderlands became my one and only true love, I was playing WoWcraft. RAIDING END GAME CONTENT LIKE A BOSS!
And there's always Team Fortress 2 (Sentai_Sage) for some quick mindless backstabb'n. And I'll tell you what, I love me some quick mindless backstabb'n
I'd love to talk longer, but I need to go back to Borderlands and find a sniper rifle that shoots LIGHTNING.

I'm playing Roland as well, but not specced as a medic (Haven't had a chance to do co-op yet). I do have the ammo regen class mod though, and could easily spec into healing bullets.
Dayjob?
I'm so phail at games, that I can only handle one l337 MMO at a time. Otherwise, I use an emulator and slowly go through all the old school Nintendo games. I've been beating the stuff I couldn't beat 10 years ago like Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. Pretty fun, actually.
Triumph Lurker: mintmiki 50 emp/archer
basically, if you see a miki on Triumph, it's probably cute and it's probably me.
Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.
Emulators are totally win, growing up playing original sega consoles like Master System and Genesis it's sweet to have those and play all those great games again. Like the original Phantasy Star, kicks Final Fantasy and Dragon Quests *** as far as original RPGs. Yeah I said it! =P
I loves me some Kay Parfait! <3
Teach me how to be in ur gamez, stealin' ur lewtz! I've even bound the "snatch items from Sage" button to Mouse 3 for easy access.

I cannot believe they used Gamespy for multiplayer matching. What is this, 2003?
For reals...I'm about to give this hibachi thing a try.
Judging from the rigamarole I had to go through to get some multiplayer going yesterday night, figure out Sage's Gamespy ID and then remake the game until your attempts to join work. Good times once they do, though.

Done and done, I've added all the names Sage listed. My Gamespy ID is SuicideMachine42 if anyone wants to add me!
As an avid collector and coniseur of console gaming the holiday time is always a joyous one for me, and lucky enough i've enjoyed a job the past two years that pays enough that I can afford to blow $50 for a game every week. This year has had some amazing games come out in the 4th quarter already, and even late summer had some really sweet games.
So just wondering, what is everybody else playing if you are a console gamer? Or even other great PC games?
Three games i've recently got that are absolutely worth your time for enjoyment:
1) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
If you own a PS3 you should already own this game, it's simply the best action game on PS3, best game period on PS3 really. The single player is nothing short of breath-taking from visuals to gameplay to voice acting to the fantastic music score. Then multiplayer both co-op and against eachother added so much more to that game! 10/10 for sure.
2) Brutal Legend
If you love anything to do with Rock music or Metal Iconography or Jack Black or hillarious dialogue from Tim Schaffer this game is brilliant. With tons of cameos and voice work by some of metal's top names like Ozzy, Halford, Lita Ford, Lemmy, and Bach from Skid Row. The gameplay is just as cool as the soundtrack with mixture of action/adventure, open exploration, and Real-Time Strategy segments. I'd say 9/10.
3) Batman: Arkham Asylum
Even a remote interest in Batman would draw you to this game where the voice work alone was worth playing 5 minutes of the game. Then you get sucked into an asbolutely fantastic original story based around The Joker and the inmates of Arkham Asylum. Variety of gameplay between fighting action, stealth action, and puzzle solving with Batman's wide array of gadgets is seemlessly pulled together to make an unforgetable game. The challenge maps are a fun way to extend the games life beyond just playing the single player and finding The Riddler's riddles, not that you won't want to play through again and again, it's a great story. 10/10!
Could really go on and on too with other amazing games from this year...
Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue: Calmity Trigger, Borderlands, DJ Hero, Beatles: Rock Band, inFamous, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Mad World, Prototype, Halo 3 ODST, and so on.
