Slow-motion

I've seen it before, especially when playing villains in mayhem missions; the "ambushes" (in this case long bows coming into the bank after your villain - very visible as you can stand on the other side of the disk and see them where they don't see you) comes moving in slow motion. Today again, on hero side, when doing flashback missions with council as main enemy. Sure enough - met an ambush in the caves. Running in slow motion.

Anyone else noticed this? Why are they moving in slow motion? I'm just curious.

Not sure. They could be having pathing problems, especially on rough terrain (I'm looking at you, rocky cave tileset).

Maybe they all have bionic legs like Steve Austin?

Maybe they are all lifeguards in BayWatch?

Maybe it is an Inigo Montoya sort of thing, ie, "If I do it in regular speed, over too quickly."

Most of my guys usually slap Snow Storm or something similar on 'em anyway, so I probably never noticed before.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Well that could be a point but I must say, the terrain inside a bank isn't all that rocky. *drum roll* *hysterical laughters from the darker corners* I guess noone but the dev's knows why. If even they do... *stares empty on the screen dumps from the bank holdup but realizes that dumps don't really show the slow motion*

I've seen it too. Not sure what the deal is.

Though, if not attacking, sometimes a walk turns into a slow run. Try following a street-walking NPC or sometimes the Freedom Corps in Atlas do this.

You know, I was going to make a crack about the floozies down by the Port Oakes dock, but they seem to have actually removed them.

On a totally unrelated note and off topic, has anyone else noticed that the "crumbling" statue models, like the ones around the arena in Port Oakes have pristine belts and headwings on the male statues, and hair and shoulder rings on the female? Guess they forgot to map the texture.

I have also observed enemies running in slow motion recently--and not just ambushes. I've seen patrols doing it too.

Seems like it's only been the past month or less.
