Mastermind upgrade power need changing

Let's take a look back before the upgrade power was changed. Mastermind pets had to be resummoned every time you zoned, and you had to upgrade each one every time. Which created "wait for the mastermind before we start" scenarios.

Then they changed the power so it upgraded all your pets. This fixed the problem more or less.

Now pets zone with you. Which means there's no problem whatsoever. So why does the upgrade power still upgrade all your pets? There's no need for that anymore. In the midst of battle it's just an end hog.

My suggestion: Make it so when you upgrade a pet it just upgrades that tier. So if you have 3 little robots 2 medium robots and 1 big robot, and you use it on a tiny robot, it only upgrades your 3 tiny robots. Then reduce the endurance cost on the power.

Plz.

No, thank you very much.

I really like the fact that I am able to play my MM's witpout having to miss half the map by inpatient players. I like the fact that my pets now zone with me even if they lose one of the upgrades while doing so. I like it that no longer am I the person everybody has to wait for (except for my long loads that is).

That's exactly why it was done that way. Castle has said so himself. As it stands, MMs often don't have a lot of things to do in the midst of combat, and END isn't much of a problem. Having an end hog upgrade power changes that, and means you have to make a strategic choice about whether to upgrade or not.

It may bother you, but it's working the way it's supposed to, and its less annoying than the alternative.

A better Idea would be for the Endurance cost to rise for every pet that isn't upgraded already. So for example, I summon all my pets, and I upgrade them. The endurance cost is normal.

Now, in battle, one of my pets dies. I summon just one pet, and upgrade him. The endurance cost would lower because I am only upgrading one pet. If three pets die and I re-summon, the upgrade cost would rise from one to three pets. When upgrading all pets, the endurance cost would be the same as it is now.

I like it much better the way it is, but then, I'd much rather have one of my powers waste my END than waste my time. END comes back; time doesn't.

(Oh, hey, Smash has a nice idea, though. Kind of like the way the END cost for Repulsion Field varies based on how many people you're flinging away. )

While I'm not against the idea of Smash. (although that might be because I like his/her avatar ) I do like how the upgrades work at the moment and even with the new system of pets zoning with you I would not want to change it back.

(although I wouldn't mind if all the pets showed the proper animation of upgrading.)

I like that. I really like that.
Being a Bots/Traps MM, and, yes, I DO have an attack in there, it'd be nice not to be mauled on end when I need to re-spawn pets.

Although they dont die too often, due to shields, FF gen and the +def IO...but even so, certain MM secondaries are end heavier than some (pain, probably, but that only counts if your healing your team more than you pets).
-shrug- Meh, really.
