SINISTER Wednesdays
We nearly had a level 18 available to run Tarikoss at +2, but unfortunately they had connection problems and we ended up at +0. Our death numbers were a little high for some reason (I was playing a Dom, which may have had something to do with it), but a good run overall.
It's been so long since I did a TF/SF with +3s that I've forgotten how long it can actually take. I'm kind of glad that I opted not to stick around and see if anyone wanted to run something after the Mantis finished...
So is tonight Dual Pistol Corruptor night?
Guess it might as well be. I've got some other lowbies that I'd be happy to play.
Word is that there's a Master of the 5th Column (Barrucada) Strike Force run in the offing tonight, let's see if we can complete the collection!
No updates doesn't mean no action. We've been running Strike Forces every Wednesday the whole time.
The Master Barracuda didn't happen yet, and if anyone wants anything special, just give a yell and we'll fit it in somewhere.
Pretty sure we need another Mothership Raid soon! :P
Master of Cuda went very well tonight. 1:42min? something like that.

By the time that had happened, interest had waned and I couldn't get anything else organised.

Hmm. We've always started at 20:30 Aussie East time, but I guess people aren't really attuned to the time any more. I've been pretty slack lately about choosing things in advance. If I haven't posted anything, I encourage people to start things up without me.
So, to get back on track, here are a couple of different events for coming Wednesdays. I'll post on the Australia channel MOTD also.
Note that daylight savings will have ended in Aussie and NZ so adjust by an hour.
EDIT: The Cirque just can't run without Bobo, move it to the 21st.
Wednesday 14th April: Giant Monster night. It's been a while since we took down any giant monsters, so we'll get stuck in and take a few down this coming Wednesday. As a special bonus we'll visit Monster Island and battle with some of the Devouring Earth monsters there.
Wednesday 21st April: Rikti Mothership Raid. Meet in Rikti War Zone and start on the Pylons at 20:30 Aussie Eastern Time.
Wednesday 28th April: Cirque du Sinistre - A light-hearted circus themed role playing night. Everyone is encouraged to create their own Circus character and join us for a night of bad jokes! Curtains go up at 20:30 Aussie Eastern time.
I'm going to be on a plane next Wednesday, so no Bobo on Fire, but I'm looking forward to the RWZ raid the following week.
Well, the servers are going down tonight for a patch, so SINISTER Wednesday's not going ahead. I'm pushing all the events by one week, and I've updated the previous post.
Giant Monster hunt a success, with 3 teams for most of the night, meaning a total of around 18 villians.
Team Lili, Team Snoof and Team Meta, successfully took down Deathsurge, Scrapyard, Caleb, and the Arachnos Flyer in Grandville, before venturing into RV to take on some slightly overpowered hero AV's.
I hope everyone had a fun night, and remember next week is the Rikti Raid
Two mothership raids were run in a row last night with an Iron Man Ice Mistral afterwards and an ITF. Lots of merits were earned, a few deaths but a lot of fun was had on the two raids.
Lili had the Iron Man Ice Mistral, which was set to +3, they managed to complete it and had a great time earning XP, debt, inf and merits.
The ITF took an hour and a half, was a lot of debt for some people, but also a lot of fun.
Thanks for the report Snoofles. There were actually two ITFs run, but I've no idea how the other one fared.
The first ship raid went extremely well, and the second was a humbling experience. The Rikti seemed to be prepared the second time around and the place is crawling with Rikti Magus. When you've got a Rikti Magus for each player, the Mothership is not a nice place.
Our Iron Man Ice Mistral was great, with four Dominators two Brutes and a lonely Corruptor. Most of the time we were down one or two players due to rogue cable repairmen and software crashes. We also reverted to the traditional tactics for the final fight, which involves a visit to the hospital after Archus calls his backup.
Next week is the Cirque du Sinistre performance, so get your circus characters ready for a laugh a minute spectacle of carnage.

And of course it won't happen anyway due to I17.

Methinks somebody is afraid of the Cirque du Sinistre! Afraid that their show can't compare to ours. Afraid of losing their audience to the spectacle of a lifetime. They know that the Cirque du Sinistre is the last circus you'll ever want to see.
I was thinking of going to the AE in RWZ, because AE arcs are so much fun for the Cirque. Looks like we'll have to do it the week after along with the brand new demon side-show.
For Cirque is there a min level or are we talking about anyone (AT) and anything (level)?
i17 comes out on the 28th of April - is that the 28th or 29th for us?
It will be a long downtime starting on the evening of the 28th.
Cirque du Sinistre is open to everyone. I found combining it with the AE worked nicely.
Last Week the Cirque du Sinistre had some fun in the AE.
This week we'll return to the good old standby of doing some Strike Forces. I think Silver Mantis might be in order, we can try it out starting from the contact in Sharkhead Isle.
There were 2 teams for the SF tonight.
Team Lili was full and running at +3.
Team Meta/Lupur was running at +0/*4 with 6 members.
Team Meta/Lupur completed the SF but I dont think Team Lili did before the Servers went down. I know they were on the final mish so may have just made it or just missed it.
Just like the good old days, we made it to the end of Silver Mantis, and were close to spawning Duray when maintenance struck. Well, I had a great time anyway, and we'll have a crack at finishing it off tomorrow night. Team B finished with lots of time to spare.
Next week will be a ship raid, see you there.
Bugger... the first Wednesday night that Silky and I have to miss and it sounds like it was a fun one. Amazon Anne and Silk Zulu are 27 so I would like to put their names down for next weeks SF.
