Pool Cs (which were formerly Task Force and then later Merit-only rewards) now have a small chance of dropping from boss kills.

i figured it was still with just random rolls or merit vending ya could get them

It's a very small chance- something like 1/2000 bosses drops a pool C- but it makes me happy.

I've only gotten (or noticed) two of the new drops since it was implemented. A BotZ: -KB and a TP stealth. It's rare but puts a smile on my face when it does happen.
I received one off a Nightmare (Zombie Boss during Zombie event). I have a question about placing it (not trying to hijack too far off OP).
Is placing it in Fitness Pool - Health a good spot for it? I have a controller plant/storm I was going to use it with. I also have O2 Boost and will have Hibernate from Epic available if either of these would be better.
Demonfest - 50 - Demon / Thermal Mastermind
Covered Shadow - 50 - Dark Melee / Shield Scrapper
Health is an excellent place for it. It will be up all the time in that case. If you put it in O2 Boost, it will only be up for 2 min after each time you put O2 boost on someone (no stacking.)

I've noticed four boss Cs, all damage procs:
one mez proc I've forgotten
Ghost Widow's psi damage
and
two Impeded Swiftness smashing damages.
have the drops changed?
i was under the impression the unique Numina's Con +rec +regen recipe wasn't a "drop" type recipe inside a regular mission. but that's exactly what i rec'd running my "investigate freaks in tv" farm (along with two purps).
