I hope you and your friends on the force get to enjoy Axel's company as long as possible and that Axel doesn't suffer.
This was the first post to actually move me to tears in 63+ months of playing.

My condolences to you and to Axel's friends and handle. They've moved on to a better place, I wager.

Somewere near the Pearly gates lies a shady Meadow glen.
a special place with lots of sun for a furry little friend.

with lots of food and water too, and a squirrel or two to chase.
a beautiful spot this field of green, a perfect canine place.

he plays in the grass, barks at the moon with lots of shoes to chew.
he waits for a friend, one left behind, a man dressed all in blue.

when finally that day comes at last, and you pass by that green place
with fond memories of life-long love, a loyal friend awaits

together you enter through those gates, that lead straight into heaven,
with a smile on your face you key your mike, "Canine one, Ten-Seven."

Joe, I am so sorry for your loss, and wish Axel peace wherever he may be. I think this is a lovely poem, and I think his owner would be quite happy to have it. It reminds of Rainbow Bridge in a way.

Joe, I'm sorry to hear about Axel. My thoughts are with you and his handlers.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Sorry to hear of Axel's passing.
Even when you know it's inevitable, you hate to say goodbye to a good friend & boon companion.

My deepest condolences to Axel's partner, and his compatriates on the force.
