Where do I post this?
There's already a thread about it over in For Fun!->City Life.

It's in the very first Category, in the very first Forum, as the very first Thread/Announcement.
Also where is the forum rules posted? I want to check that I am within my rights to post this.

They used to be stickied at the top of each forum, which was very handy, but apparently someone decided during the cutover to vBulletin that it was a waste of space or something.

good /em lecture JK
See that is where I remembered them being, at the top of each section, but I went to look and nada. Anyway that aside I do think I like the V-Bulletin system now that I am getting use to it.

I think in UBB, "Announcement" type threads are displayed in all forums, no matter what. It wasn't copied to each forum, it was the same thread.

Aha. Well, however they did it, it's one of the two things I miss about the old forums. The other was the "favorite forums" feature, by which I could set up a sort of LJ-default-view-style pool of the forums I wanted to watch, and so wouldn't have to even bother seeing the ones in which I had no interest listed. It'd be especially handy now that a scad of them are in languages I can't read, but I've spent a while poking around in the config options and if there's a way to replicate it, I've yet to figure out what it is.

(Also, while I almost hate to admit it after the - justified, I think! - kicking I gave UBB at any opportunity, the threaded mode was better there.)

Subscribe to a forum (inside the "Forum Tools" dropdown above the "Last Post" column). It will then be listed in your USER CP. Bookmark your USER CP and you'll never have to see any forum you don't want to see.

You can also subscribe to threads ("Thread Tools" dropdown above the first post in the thread).

I searched for the proper place to post this, and I did not have permissions to post it where I felt it should be... So if you know where it should go let me know and I will post it there. Also where is the forum rules posted? I want to check that I am within my rights to post this.

CoH/V Ranked #3 in "The List: Top 5 MMOs That Need Remakes"
Message:
Our beloved game has long been in the MMO news, longer even than I have personally played it myself. But in this particular article we place #3 in "The List: Top 5 MMOs That Need Remakes" posted on MMORPG.com and I think that the Red Names from Paragon studios should take the time to read it, if they have not already. The author makes some good points about the future of the game as well as some good suggestions for a sequel.
I for one hope that Going Rouge has enough new content to win over players that we have lost as well as draw in a whole new crowd, but as is stated in that article I also think that it might be time for Paragon Studios to look into a sequel to keep our favorite gaming franchise going strong for many years to come.
I'd like to hear your opinions regardless if they are pro, con or even those calling me a crack-pot for bringing this up in the first place... As long as at least one of the Dev's get wind of the article, and its underlying message.
