Dimensional Warder badge help

Is there any way to know which AVs you've killed? I never made a list with the toon I'm working on and I only need 1 AV to get the badge but I don't know which one to get.

It's this badge I'm after if anyone needs a memory spark:

Am I SOL?

Easiest thing to do is just get a group together on your server and run the arc straight through again. There are usually people willing to do it with you.

Odds are you need to get Anti-Matter or Black Swan.

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Indeed.

Black Swan isn't listed as an objective in her mission. People who don't know she's on the map may "rescue the prisoner" and skip right past her without realizing it. I usually recommend killing her before even searching for the prisoner so that people don't get locked out of the complete mission when trying to go to Hospital during the AV fight.

...and Anti-Matter is in an earlier arc, so it's easy to forget him as well.

I haven't done any specific archs. I just got most of the AVs from bank missions.

Um... what? The AVs in Safeguards ("bank missions") are redside signature villains, like Ghost Widow, etc.

You need to do Maria Jenkins/Tina Macintyre's arcs to get the Dimensional Warder Praetorian villains.

Sort of related to this - wouldn't it be a good idea if they added a kind of notebook/log in game, that you could write notes or reminders or anything else in?
It could be a window that you bring up with, say, the "J" key, and you could add tabs in it like the chat window, so you could sort your notes into different catagories.

I just use playernote for this. I playernote my character and then add in what notes I need to make.

You can make notes for any random string of letters, it's just a text file. You could type /playernote dimensionalwarder and it will come up.

Oh now, THAT IS clever.

I WAS aware that you could make playernotes for your own toon, I've done it by rt. clicking my toon's name in the sg window...

However, if you do this for other people's toons when they are offline it will treat the toon name as a global; then you may not consistently see the stars on that player's real global as a result. I've had to go into the text file and clean it up a little because of this (playernotes on toon names instead of global names).

That's excellent. Thanks for that tip!

just keep in mind that player notes are GLOBAL, so if you are going to do this on more than one toon, it would be beneficial to name the note with your toon name as well so that you don't end up opening the AVs for the wrong character.

Something like:
/playernote AVMaster-Blade
/playernote AVTealTabby
/playernote AVRobinRogue

Then you can even bind that note to a key to open it any time it's pressed.

If you wanted to, you can even create notes like:
/playernote SalvageMaster-Blade
/playernote SalvageTealTabby
/playernote SalvageRobinRogue

And because they are global, you can access those notes from your other characters just by typing the command, and you can see what your other characters have in their inventory or vault (as long as you keep it updated).

However, note that they are global per account. If you have more than one account, you'll have to copy the notes file if you want the same information on a different account.

It was answered early on, you need to do the Tina MacIntyre arc (40-45) and the Maria Jenkins arc (45-50). Specifically you need to kill the following AV's: Anti-Matter, Battle Maiden, Black Swan, Bobcat, Chimera, Diabolique, Dominiatrix, Infernal, Malaise, Marauder, Nueron, Nightstar, Siege

I have a problem with that badge too.
Badge status is at 12 (92,31%) of 13 completed!

I've run both Maria Jenkins and Tina McIntyre 2 times now. (1x normal, 1x flashbacks)
Black Swan was sort of "hidden" on a rescue the prisoner mission.

That leaves me with Nightstar.
I've done the *Shrouded* mission 2 times now (Rescue 9 "Terrified Citizens") but that's not the mission with Nighstar or is it?
Pretty sure I checked every spot and the rooftops as well.
So where is Nightstar? Not on a story arc/flashback?

Then I checked Red Tomax/CoH Titan and Paragon Wiki and the story arc descriptions seem to be out of date.
Could anyone update the mission info on Red Tomax/CoH Titan/Paragon Wiki or post a link to updated mission info?

You have it right -- the same mission that awards the "Shrouded" badge ("Disrupt Nightstar's Ritual") also contains Nightstar. She can be found on a rooftop with some minions.

You can also find her paired with Siege in the "Bring back the missing scanners" mission later in Maria Jenkins' arc. All of this information IS updated and contained on the appropriate page of the wiki (http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Maria_Jenkins).

Thanks a lot, I must be blind!
Actually I didn't run the mission "Black Shroud Dimension" which is its own mission/flashback.
I got the Shrouded badge on another mission, to which I was referring to: "Rescue people from their shadows" http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Maria_Je..._their_shadows

I'm very sorry, and thanks a lot to the people who work hard on the information stuff!

For cases like that, binding "target_custom_next Nightstar" is really useful.

Both Tina and Maria have several non-arc missions too. Every Praetorian AV exists in at least one stand-alone mission, though it should rarely be necessary to get them that way.

Concerning the self-note discussion earlier, might I suggest the following:

Code:
/bind numpadenter "playernote notes_$name"
Then save your default binds with the button in the options window.

From then on, every time you press Enter on the number pad, it will open the player notes for "notes_charactername", unique to each character. And since only NCSoft staff can use the underscore in their names, you know you'll never accidentally note a real person, and you won't have to share notes across all your characters like you would by noting your own global.

$name doesn't seem to parse your name in that case. I tested it earlier or I would have suggested the same type of thing.
