RPvP

I know this is considered the "Role Playing" server and on my server they are coming up with a Theme PvP idea that could get the interest of people on this server. This is a pretty demanding concept and only a limited powers will be accepted. This is the link of the thread on my server ( http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=192458 ). Maybe this server can do something like this or you could make a character on my server.

Best of luck. We've tried expanding on the casual tone pre-determined outcome RPvP we've done and had a blast with in our group to little success. In my experience, most RPers won't touch even casual PVP with a 20 foot pole, and most PVPers won't touch RP with a 30 foot pole. To say the least, it's incredibly tricky finding the right balance.

I've done RPvP, as well, but yes, it is hard to find other people willing to both at the same time.

Beyond the society where it was dick around with lesser used powers, most RPvP i've seen was "pick OP AT and sets, keep character development to a minimum, all and every conflict must be set in the arena." *cough* mandate *cough*. Needless to say it IS hard to find a fun spot, even then one hurt feeling can turn that fun spot into dust.
