This - do this now before you get too far along on Pinnacle. Roll a "practice" toon (don't invest too much time Creating it) on some of the other Servers and see how the communities vary from server to server.

I recently paid to Transfer from Liberty to Freedom 'cause I like forming 8-man Pick-up Groups every time I log in, and Freedom (had) the highest pop at the time.

And sure it's easy to form teams on Freedom, but sometimes I miss the more mature, intelligent, informed pop from Liberty.

So by all means "dip your toe" in a few of the more noteworthy servers and see how you like the "temperature" of each.

I'm another Pinnacle player (global is @Hertz). There's no real right or wrong on server selection, since you and your wife will always have a team of at least 2.

You might consider putting all your hero-type characters on one server, and all your villain-type characters on a different server. You can't email money or goodies to yourself, and you can't trade between heroes and villains (yet), so there may not be much point in trying to cram heroes and villains onto a single server. By sticking to one faction per server, you and your wife can log in any of your heroes, make swaps and trades, invite each other to supergroups, and all that jazz.

My first toon was a robot/pain mastermind, but I didn't feel like learning all the pets commands and such (too much like my lock in WoW) I'm having a blast (no pun intended) with my corrupter though. Was this a bad choice for server? Should we turn back? Re-roll before its too late?

That server is more than ok, no need to reroll so dont worry Unfortunately we are in different server lists though with me on the EU servers so if you do need any help then i can only offer my forum handle. Feel free to PM me if you come across any issues or want some help in some form or another.

Hope you both enjoy your time here and be sure to check out the story arcs. Villainside they get VERY good [or is that evil?].

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

Sweet. Pinnacle is a low-pop server but you can certainly find teams. Heck, last night I was on a heroside team with 7 new players (!).

Try joining global channel /chanjoin Cozmic's Playground for more teaming opportunities. Redside has a good number of people around as well. I have a few vill alts on Pinnacle and lots of hero alts and would be glad to help out.

Just send me a tell /t @Neuronia when ingame.

All the servers are fine; if you really want a populous experience try Freedom, Virtue, Infinity. For more 'relaxed' experiences Pinnacle, Champion, Justice, Triumph, VIctory...all the other servers have their own manias and quirks.

Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes

I disagree; it gets more damaging faster than the other sets, at 18 with Phantom Army. And Spectral Wounds is quite good at low levels.
