I went into rv

I went into rv and there were some heroes and villains dueling under the statue behind where mrs liberty is in atlas. anyway there was two fire / regeneration scrappers from the korean sg there. only one of them dueled though and her name was hot of war. she beat the three villains there really quick and they didnt dent her hp by much. the villains where two brutes and a corr. so i decided to duel her on my ss/wp brute as its actually proved to be not so bad in duels. i lost in like a minute or so and her hp didnt go past halfway.

i have a conclusion which has led me to these 3 questions:

1. what build is best to beat a fire / regeneration scrapper

2. has anyone ever beat hot of war in a duel b4

3. is hot of war the best melee pvper on virtue

I always assumed Hot has a buffbot or two somewhere. All of the "Korea" or "RoK Heroes" appear to use every conceivable advantage regardless of what anybody thinks about it.

There are a couple of regen scrappers like Hot on Virtue. I don't know jack about fiteklubbing, but I would guess some kind of MM could beat him. Maybe the right kind of Corruptor or Dominator as well. Don't even try it with a Brute, Stalker, or VEAT.

Anyway, this is not the right forum to ask this question. Go to the PvP forums and ask (or look up) how to beat regen scrappers in duels. I'm sure it's a common question.

I've beat Hot of War twice on my BS/Regen.

MM's will be best if you've not much inf. If inf isn't a problem, build a better /Regen.

Generally looking at a corruptor or defender with fly and some sort of -regen.

Cold/* or */Cold is absolutely evil to regens. You can cripple their recharge, debuff their healing and neuter their damage not to mention slowing them to a crawl.

Of course the problem with Fight Clubs (lawl) is that half the time they'll impose one retarded rule or another. (Most amusing I've ever seen was demanding a stalker not use any sort of stealth. Controller got really pissed when I said fine, no mezzes for you then!)

I killed Hot with a lolzy Sonic/Rad corr before, and that was a non-IO'd build.

Hot is far from the best Melee PvP'er, but has considerably better chances once you put in a bunch of rules that works to his advantage. Still, nothing special.

People are PvPing in RV again?

I would agree with Flea, Cold corruptors/defenders (and Rad) can crush most regen scrappers and stalkers.

Be super strength.

KB, KD, KB, KD, KB, dead :/

Can't reconstruct/activate healing abilities while stunned/KB.

They fixed the knockout blow kb bug when i16 hit live. I haven t actually tested it yet but kob shouldn't effect players without kb protection outside of their shields/acro anymore.
