Will power cust. affect my "old-school" costume?

To elaborate on the header: I have costume designs from very early issues, and some of them contain costume pieces that either are no longer available or can't be selected for some reason at the tailor, an example would be the "glowing eyes" face.

Now I haven't touched those slots for sentimental reasons even when tempted with the "retouch" bug with new costume sets on following issues. However, powerset customization makes it too good to pass up. Will I be forced to lose/redesign my old costumes if i hit "accept" when the changes were ONLY to the powers?

Yes, just going into the tailor with that costume will shift the options to the nearest legal option. You might be able to circumvent this at a plastic surgeon, since the default menu is the body type menu, rather than the costume menu, but I would be surprised if it worked.

However, if you just wish to preserve the glowing eyes, they are still there. Face option - Supernatural 13 (on males, IIRC, the glowing eyes that you can't recolor). At the very bottom of the second Face menu, you should see Supernatural 13. Select this, and you can alter the hue of your glowing eyes.

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)

thanks for the costume advice on the glowing eyes, and for verifing it will change. I will take a look and see if the head option, chest graphic and hair that I believe also disappears/shifts to the next legal option is hidden in the choices. Otherwise I might have to forgo a power-customization on those slots.

Remember that very little actually goes away in terms of costume parts, but does get renamed. Like the Glowing Eyes face, a lot of parts get renamed and shuffled on the listings. Feel free to keep posting parts you think may be gone, and folks will help you find them if they're there to be found.

I've gone back to most of my "old school" characters, a few Issues ago, and updated their looks with the current set of costume pieces. Of course, 90% of the parts were exactly the same, but the tailor didn't recognize that. =>_<=

The problem is when there is a part that still exists, but can't be used on a different body, or when you have another part, say Jackets, on, even if there was a time when you could use it (which is how I have a jacket-wearing female with Evil Epaulets).

A couple of my "Malaise Pants"-wearing characters will have to pass on power customization for at least one of their slots .
I can't think of any other characters I have that own parts that were definitely removed ( I did have one of the original suit jackets that didn't 'tear' along the back, but that character also lost his balding head so the costume had to be reworked entirely, or run around with a textureless head .)

Best way to verify, I think, would be to copy the character over to test and check to see if the Surgeon vs. Normal tailor works there if you do not go to the actual costume screen.

I'm confused. I just checked the Character Creator, and the Female Model can wear Evil Epaulets on jackets, robes and trench coat, or am I miss understanding something?

Pep might be talking about the original Jacket, which was all one piece. You didn't have the chest selections under it or different kinds of ties. It was your chest selection. It is also completely gone from the game, not just moved. Having more options in that area are nice, but there are also problems with the pieces not all fitting just right.

My main has it still in his first slot, I got to level 30 before it was removed, so that slot has an aura. But I can't change any of his SS animations or change his power colors without losing it.
