Procs in Dark Consumption and Sould Drain

Do the Perf Shifter and Gaussian's procs have a chance to activate only once per casting of these powers or once per mob hit?

I don't think the procs stack with themselves, but by placing them in an AoE the chance for them to go off is much better. The Gaussian is a unique so I am sure it won't stack. The Perf Shifter may but can't say for sure. Someone with more knowledge will have to answer that one. I haven't ever placed procs in those powers since they have such long timers. The procs would work better in a power with a shorter recharge IMO.

Both will have a decent chance of proccing from the AOEs.

The Performance Shifter isn't really needed in Dark Consumption though IMO, simply because it's cheaper to slot for End Mod and that's usually enough. All it needs are 2 enemies to fully recharge your End. Best place for the Shifter is really a +Recovery power where it has a chance of proccing when you need it.

Soul Drain is up around every 60 seconds when recharge is fully slotted and is a good place for the Chance for Build-Up proc. It won't self-stack but the AOE gives it a decent chance for proccing. It'll have about a 23% chance to proc against 5 targets, and 40% against 10.

IIRC, the Performance Shifter Proc has a chance to give +10 endurance to "target", which means that it'd actually give it to the mobs affected.

I *think* that only applies if your attack drains End from your enemies. So in Power Sink or any Elec attack it does that.

You could be right on the "What is the Target" issue though, it may not give you End at all. It's one of those weird undefined quirks of how this proc works with Target rules where it's hard to know what it's going to do.

Even more reason to stick it in Stamina or another +Recovery power instead.

The proc doesn't work per target, it works per click of a given skill. This is how it is able to function with skills like BU and Aim which are merely clicks.

The end result is that Soul Drain is the WORST place to put this proc out of any toHit buff skill in the game. Follow Up, Build Up, Tactics, Invincibility, BU and Aim are all better receptacles for Gaussian's %chance for BU.

Urrgh, really? Bugger. If that's the case it's not very good there alright. Drat! Now I've a spare Gaussian floating about.

Ooh, but I've a Claws Brute too. Time for a transfer.

Well, I really have those sets in there for their sets bonuses, but was wondering about the procs since I already have them. Thanks for the replies.
