Master of Barracuda SF not awarding
Yeah, because prior to the patch, upon talking to Lord Recluse, the whole team would mapserve. When coming back online, you're technically still on the Strike Force but you don't get that usual popup of Strike Force completion with time and restrictions. You also didn't get the merits and regular badge. This was before the latest patch right after i16.
Here's the latest set dialogue between support and myself:

We have recently become aware of an issue with this badge and are currently investigating the matter. I'm afraid to say that this means we will not be able to award the badge at present. Sincerest apologies for this, we will hopefully have a resolution very soon.

I am able to provide a screenshot showing that we were expecting the Master of Barracuda Strike Force [badge], and that we had deaths set to 0 and no temporary powers allowed set, both of which were adhered to. You will see the villain temporary powers in Terratron's icon tray, and that we're waiting outside of the exit to the Reichman showdown

It seems that Beefcake is right. They're expecting us to "suck it up" and do it again once the issue is resolved, unless of course it is awarded once the issue is resolved, to those affected. A course of action I am very much hoping for.

Two of my coleaders ran this successfully last week and last night. One has a difficult work schedule and the other has a new baby.. it can be fustrating finding time, getting through, not being awarded, and then having CS send an arbitrary answer (some teams are awarded .. some are not) or no response at all. I'm pretty sure they would have invested their time elsewhere had they known.
Got me badge, it had indeed been awarded to a similarly-named character.
5 of the original 8 members of the Master of the 5th Column Badge run on Friday received the badge through Customer Support. Among the members still needing the badge on the picture posts are Moon over Twilight, Penguin of Death, and Battle Bunni.

Got the response from a senior rep! Badge awarded! If they happen to see this, thanks customer service! P.S. If anyone from this thread or from teams associated hasn't received it, it's probably because they haven't petitioned for it. |
Good to see you got it. But this is exactly what pisses me off about support, they're selective on who they give the badge to or so it seems. My team also has sent in a support ticket on this SF and we've updated our tickets with screen shots, yet we were still denied the badge from support.
I seriously feel support either needs to give it to everyone who sends proof of completing any TF/SF and award the credit to everyone or don't award anyone anything at all. Don't be selective on who is awarded the credit.
Just by seeing this makes me want to cancel my main account. It's not that I can't do it again, it's the point on how support handles things with different people. It's the principle and nothing more. It's ********!

Been emailed four times so far with the last one being two days old.
First said it was passing it on to a senior member.
Second asked for more details.
Third said they couldn't award the badge, so was passing me to a senior GM.
Fourth said it was a know issue and was being worked on.
A different person for each response. Got my hopes up that the senior GM could actually award myself and my team mates the badge, 'twas a shame. Will still keep my fingers crossed and an eye on my inbox.

Btw, I got the badge (was on the SF with cath and sun).
I assure you, it's not a whine, but more so a gripe on how support handles tickets and people on different levels. When they should treat each ticket the same.
To act as if I'd never get the badge would be childish, I know I'll get the badge regardless if I have to run it 50 times, it'll happen. That's not my argument here at all.

Ive been in some degree of correspondence with customer support for a week now, and the last reply i got was this:
"There is currently an issue with the Barracuda SF which means that the badge is not awarding. We are working toward a solution but in the meantime, I am afraid that we are unable to manually add the badge for you."
The team I led for the Baracuda SF have all sent petitions and have all provided screen shot evidence in support of our MO achievement. In addition the logs for all players are available to check.
Devs: this simply HAS to be consistant - you cannot award the badge to some people and not to others!

To be fair to everyone and to stop the complaining, I want my toon on the Triumph server, Sour Payne, to have this badge revoked. As it is bugged and not giving it to everyone who has completed it, I will get it another time when it is in working order. I dislike having a badge that is unfairly given out.
Mmm ok Desum. That makes sense. Didn't know if it was actually the same specific thing or what. But there must be someway they can check we did it, since we got the normal badge and merits also. A different bug issue perhaps?
