Arachnos Commander, laid to rest. (( A goodbye (of sorts) and a thank you. ))
Can't even imagine earning 2 bil infamy.

Arachnos Commander: actually, I am
pohsyb: I mean you kinda were one already anyways ^_^
Arachnos Commander:
Aww. I cant imagine killing my beloved BT. Too heart wrenching. I hope it wasnt too painful for you to do. I hope you will have fun with those silly silly RSF Regulars which I assuredly have no part in. 8p

Goodbye and good travels Commander. I'd like to say you were one of the good ones, but you were an Arachnos agent, so that makes you icky nasty evil.
Still, you will be missed. For as long as I can remember in the game the Commander has been part of it. We may not have met personally all that often, but I respect the personality and life you've helped to bring to our server. Travel gently into the great night, soldier. And we'll carry on the flag for you.
SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
...you can get a 14 month subscription but not willing to move the unused to an alternate Shard?
I'm about to do the exact opposite, I'm moving my namesake to Virtue and bringing along my first tank, FlaTToP. I'm going to write a story for the fanzine on this thing, hopefully write even more after that.
Not my first move, though. I moved my very first guy I made, an ele/ele/ele blaster and got him to 50, he was languishing at 32 until the move here to Virtue.
Good luck in your new surroundings. I'll be filling the gap you leave
36 level 50's in various servers...haven't been here in a while. It's now over 50
*salutes and holds back the tears*
Toons i'm most seen playing: Hero : xanthicsnow, Pyro Quiver, Californian. Villain: Nox Carbine
*Kegi-Bot BC steps up to the mic and toss a pink rose on the coffin*
It is with a heavy heart that I come today. With great sadness that I take over the reigns of this great VG.
Don't worry about all the loot I stole the key from him like a month ago. I promise to fill your VG with all the pink i can find.
*Blinks*
What ... No way ...
*looks over the will* OMG the JERK ... how dare he cut me out of the will. After all the things i did for him.
*snatches her pink rose and stomps off, shaking her small fist at the sky*
You haven't heard the last of me commander! No one can escape the wrath of the pink crayon. Even death won't save you.
There IS a precedent for them.

You really had me going for a while, there...
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Webmaster Grave looks up after punching out some puny arachnos soldiers who were attempting to cash in on he bounty.
The flyer passes overhead and he removes his hat and salutes to it.
"Y'all ain' never gonn' see a soldier 's good as he was."
Spits on the semi unconcious soldiers.
"Y'all got alotta work ta' do."
OOC: Seriously though, it's always a sad moment when you stop playing your main. I do hope you come back to virtue for the Going Rogue madness, though.

Miss Honey Dew storms around the Jaded Angel base shouting dictation to her assistant.
Dear Lord Recluse,
OMG! You have a freaking iPhone for heaven's sake. You could've called or sent a text message about Commander. I can't believe this. I didn't get to make a well-timed appearance to properly mourn in public with a new outfit and say goodbye.
Is there going to be a memorial or something? Just don't use any old person in the Isles. We have to check references. I can't be seen at anything tacky or below my social event status. You should keep that in mind too.
I know this great party planner in Paragon. We could totally borrow her for a bit. She's got great style and sense of occasion. Let me know. I still have connections over there.
Yours in evil deeds,
Miss Honey Dew
Miss Honey Dew signs the letter in dramatic calligraphy and bestows a threatening glare on her assistant along with delivery instructions. After wiping streaked mascara from her cheek, Honey tosses another tear-soaked tissue into a growing a pile that has missed the trash.

Grandville (AN) - The body of the Arachnos Commander, Cyrus Adain, departed from Grandville at 12:08am (EST) aboard the Arachnos Flyer, Omega. The ship, which was created for inter-dimensional combat, was modified to hold a private ceremony onboard. Official representatives of Arachnos, as well as family, are accompanying the casket to its final destination where the Commander will be laid to rest.
At the request of Commander Adain, his remains will be held inside a private mausoleum on an ‘R Class’ planet in the dimension designated as Psi Delta 7-2, nicknamed “Utopia Minor” by Arachnos Officials. Although the guardians of the planet hold no allegiance to Arachnos, they allow use for ceremonies of high ranking officers. This event marks the first burial of a non-inhabitant of the planet.
Details of Commander Adain’s death have not been made public as of printing.
The Commander is survived by two brothers, Alex Adain of Natal, Brazil, and Michael Adain of Boston, MA; two sisters, Christine (Adain) Bragg of Reno, NV, and Heather Adain of Nashua, NH; an adopted sister; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Crey’s Foundation of Hope Charity, 18 North-Northwest Crimson Cove, Nerva Archipelago 09914.
OOC:
Five years ago, today, I began my journey into the unknown when I started my City of Heroes subscription. Man, I still can’t believe it’s been five years!
As I look back on yesterday, I feel a sense of accomplishment. Not only did I “ding” my 31st level 50, but I finally accomplished my goal of getting one of every AT to level 50. To put the cherry on the sundae, my main badge-hunting villain, Arachnos Commander, earned 2 billion infamy yesterday, thereby earning the Leader Badge.
My accomplishments, the day before my five year anniversary, showed me that I can actually set goals and complete them. Either that, it shows that I have WAY too much free time on my hands
I’ve made many friends, and enemies, throughout my time on Virtue. In fact, it was a longtime friend that coaxed me into trying this game. Of course, as soon as I became addicted, she left to try out other games. As City of Heroes was the first MMO I had ever tried, I knew it would always be my favorite.
But, as my character slots dwindle down to my last five, I have decided that I have accomplished all I can on Virtue. So, it saddens me to say, it is time to move on…
Wait… you think that I’m leaving the game? Gimme a break! My new 14 month subscription starts today!
No, I’m not leaving, just moving servers! I figure that the last five slots I have on Virtue will be saved for the Going Rogue expansion. And with the cost of moving unused alts to another server, I’m just going to keep them on Virtue until they allow us to create more than 36 characters per server.
So, why did I kill off my main alt, the Arachnos Commander? Well, there isn’t much more I can do with him. He’s four years old, has 583 badges (once i16 hits he will have all known villain badges except some day jobs and veteran), and really had no story of his own. I figured it was the right time to put him to rest. I might decide to resurrect him down the line, but never will he hold the title of “Arachnos Commander” again. That chapter of his life is over and is resting inside a mausoleum.
I want to thank all of the friends and acquaintances that I’ve met on my “Virtuous” journey. I especially want to thank Shannon aka. Misfortune, Jason aka. Ley Line Walker, Belle, Sandolphan, Xad, Hasdrabul Skaras, Virtue United for making my nights of badge hunting entertaining, the entire cast and crew (past and present) of the Arachnos Elite, all of the Developers for giving me this home on the interwebs, and a special thanks to Ara, because, without her I would have never met my two best friends, Kegan and Andra.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my accomplishments with you before moving to my new home. Catcha all on the flipside!
And NO! You can't have my stuff! It's all sitting neatly in storage for the day I either move alts or get more character slots!
