Your opinions are not coming off as opinions and implying there is no reason whatsoever ever given by a player that will satifsy your criteria for not adding this.

I am saying that this suggestion has been brought up many, many times over the years and the devs know. Therefore, the only people that can give you an answer are the devs.

I still say that if the Devs wanted us to have it, they would have added it 4 years ago when people demanded it then.
No, I said you're self centered because since you wouldn't use it you don't want it added. Meaning that nobody else could.

As far as reasons for it go, simple, people want it(not sure how many), they would use it, and it would make their in game life that much easier. Quality of Life is a reason for adding something.

Think of it like the ability to click on somebody's name in the chat window. We were fine without it, but it was a "little thing" thing that made the game more enjoyable for people, some more than others obviously. The ability to transfer items between characters would be the same type of improvement. Not needed, but a nice extra that doesn't harm anybody in any way.

I said that it's not needed because it's very easy to earn what you needed without a global bank. I never said that people shouldn't have it because I didn't want it.

Your point that it should be added because people want it. I get that. I just don't see that as a good enough reason.

In the end how you or I feel on it doesn't matter. Only what the Devs think matters

Good way to put it.

Players want all kinds of things - world PvP, wall climbing, vehicles, more zones, more this, more that, ... You search for those posts and there are those that /sign on.

The devs get the message: they read and post to the forums, they play other games, have friends in the industry, read the news and do interviews, and however else they get get informed. And things like the OP are still not in the game for reasons only the devs have.

Edit: This is my add on to DocArcus' reply above.

I get that the devs decision and opinion is the one that matters most. What I don't get is why any of yall are against it. What is so bad about this idea? All that has been said so far is that people wanting it isn't a good enough reason. I disagree, but we aren't gonna change each others mind on that. No big deal.

Also, on an unrelated note, what is with the name calling in the rep comments? It's not a big enough deal for me to report it, but there are a couple neg reps that just call me a name. Are a couple of people that much of cowards that they can't put their name behind something like that? I'm not even mad, just curious as to why somebody would do that.

This is all the rep system will do. I have yet to see it work in any forum. People will always use it to insult others or play games with it.

As always anonymity breeds false courage. They rely on people not taking the rep system seriously enough to report them so they can "say" things they would never post in an open forum or PM. A few have even deluded themselves into thinking the red and green dots mean something to other people so they take pleasure if they can make your rating drop. It's pure malicious cowardice.

I've gotten neg rep angrily commenting on the fact my rep is off and they can't see it.

Why not make it easier is because they can't stop it entirely, and that's the next best thing. This is an unintended functionality, and while you CAN do it, you're not going to see amenities made for it until it is officially declared an intended tactic. Which I just don't see.

I don't even mind being called an idiot, I realize my opinions and the way I state them aren't always popular. But doing it without attaching name to it is weak IMO. Oh well, no biggie

I've found the comments I've gotten amusing, but other people have reported gettins some nasty vile comments. Those are the ones I call cowards and bullies. Worst I've gotten were just strange.

My favorite neg rep comment is: "For posting in a PK thread." I just found that amusing and I think I know who wrote it.

With enhancement storage available in bases, we can already transfer the most expensive items in the game between characters on the same account. It's slightly clumsy and time consuming, and does require the assistance of another account to invite your alts to the same supergroup. You can also transfer salvage and inspirations through base storage as well.

You can't transfer influence directly this way, but you can craft an IO with one character and then get it with another character and sell it on the market. If the crafting character has common recipes memorized you're actually getting other players to finance your alts.

The only downside is that if you belong to a big supergroup you may not have control over who has access to your items, and you may not want to leave expensive IOs sitting in the base for long periods.
