I doubt we'll get any animation that's not the same length as the existing ones, simply because that'll make it so that your appearance impacts performance.
And what was the old animation, anyways?

anyone other than myself that would love to get back the old animation for storm kick?
I know all the min/maxers were glad to see it go, (ok sometimes i min/max builds, just not my MA/SR :P) but i've run into the occasional player that wants it back too
