Revamp the Shard!!

I hope the devs'll hear my suggestions!

1: Maybe reduce the size of the zones, and add more mission arcs to it!

2: Make it co-op! not everyone is a hero-side player!

3: GMs! Maybe include Rularuu the Ravager!

4: Make it a little bit like RWZ, we could have Raids! CoP Raid, instead of an SG raid, it'd be fun! And you could add in Rularuu Gems or something, used for crafting Rularuu Costume parts instead of having to do a long winded TF or hunting down 100 eyeballs.

It'd be great! Thanks for readin this ^_^

I'm all for a Shadow Shard revamp!
And make it slightly easier to navigate :3
I think co-op'd be good considering villains can't get Rularuu weapons (as far as I'm concerned anyway)

They can, without farming for it. All they need do is complete a mission in the level 35-40 range from Technician Naylor. Which, before i16 comes, means it's easier for villains than heroes.

The Co-Op thing is good once in a while, but I'd like to feel villainous for a change instead of "working with my enemies against a greater threat". Thus, I support the notion of having a set of villain-only Shadow Shard zones and missions instead of more co-op zones.

Reiterating stuff I've posted before...
1. The Shard currently consists of:
  • Firebase Zulu
  • Cascade Archipelago (contains Ruladak the Strong)
  • The Chantry (contains Faathim the Kind)
  • The Storm Palace (contains Lanaru the Mad)

2. We know that there are 7 aspects of Rularuu:
  1. Ruladak the Strong
  2. Faathim the Kind
  3. Lanaru the Mad
  4. Chularn the Slave Lord
  5. Kuularth the Scavenger
  6. Aloore the Watcher
  7. Uuralur the Mirror

3. Villains have no access to the Shard

Solution:
Give villains a set of zones to correspond with the hero Shard zones:
  • Firebase [some NATO phonetic alphabet letter]
  • Factory Cubes (contains Chularn the Slave Lord)
  • The Repository (contains Kuularth the Scavenger)
  • The Garden of Memories (contains Uuralur the Mirror)

Additionally, create a zone which can be used by both heroes and villains (either co-op or PvE competitave):
  • The Palace (contains Aloore the Watcher)

/These. They've over-co-opped already IMHO (and really, if you're just a "misunderstood" individual and not really a villain, well - wait for GR.)

That said -

1. I don't particularly agree with shrinking the zones. For what they're supposed to be, they are suitably impressive.

2. They do need more to do, however. More contacts and story arcs.

3. I wouldn't argue with allowing villains access to *their own* version of the Shard - with two different and exclusive paths (one helping Darrin, one working against him) - with perhaps a point where you can change your mind. Or, same zone, just different contacts (and no PVP, obviously - they're there on their own. All you know is that the "other side" is up to something.)

4. Nor would I mind having to deal with the other Aspects. There's a great deal of story potential that could easily take you from 40-50 - and leave you with plenty to do at 50.

THIS THIS! OH GOD THIS! But honestly, I think it might be cool if villains didn't get a firebase, but rather there was a HUGE Arachnos Airship that served as the villain base, and that large scale villain access into the Shard happened because someone @#$%ed up with the Destiny portal and it TEARS AN ENORMOUS HOLE IN THE SKY off the coast of Grandville that leads into the Shard through a series of islands that have fallen out of the Shard as remain suspended in the air in our world.

I think it'd be neat if a Hortha Vine just opened up in Grandville

No more co-op zones!
