NVIDIA PhysX Not working
There is nothing you can do. They are not compatible.
*searching for an old thread where we beat this subject to death.
Will this mean I would have to get a seperate PhysX PPU then and I'll be unable to use the integrated one on my video card? I suppose that's all I'm asking here.

It has also been discussed that there is not a big noticeable difference by getting an older Aegia card that is compatible with CoX... at least not any difference that is worth going through the trouble of buying one and tweaking it specifically to work with CoX. All the GPU PhysX did was unload the processing from your main processor to the video card, and with today's multi-core and faster speeds, it doesn't always provide any kind of real benefit.
CoH won't recognize my PhysX card

About CoH's PhysX Implementation
Thanks! That was really helpful! And now I know!
CoH uses a very old PhysX library, which is incompatible with today's GPU-accelerated libraries. Even if you try to replace the CoH PhysX library with a newer one, the updater will throw a fit and 'fix' the file back to the old one.
Short answer, until Paragon Studios updates stuff on their end, you shan't get GPU-accelerated PhysX.
But in truth... there is no point.
You can still set Physics detail to Very High without a PPU or GPU-acceleration, and on modern PCs there isn't much penalty for doing so. You can still use the High setting if Very High impacts your framerate, as both settings are almost indistinguishable.

Haha, no worries. As you can see from the basic specs I gave for my computer, it can handle CoH at the highest settings.
I get a tiny bit of lag once in a while, but eh. It doesn't bother me much since it's very seldom and I don't usually notice it (I was used to running CoH on a 128 mb AGP card when I first started playing.)
(Shhhhhhhh...don't let them know that you were told about them....)

This makes me sad as I just built a new rig and I'm using my old 8800GTS as a dedicated physx card. Saaaaaad.

There are advantages to using the old PhysX drivers with CoH. The non-card drivers do all the work inline, whereas the emulation runs in a separate thread, which is a win on a multi-core cpu. I haven't tried, but it's possible you might be able to install both sets of drivers at the same time, as I recall the installer for the actual PhysX card installing numerous versions of the driver...
@Nitram_Tadur

I think the Nvidia driver also installs all of the old Aegia drivers as well, if that's what you were referring too.
Okay, here's the gist of things...
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8500
Motherboard: ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo
RAM: 4gb DDR2
Video Card: NVIDIA 9800GX2 1024mb DDR3 CUDA Enabled and PhysX Enabled
I checked my drivers and everything. I have latest NVIDIA 9 series drivers and the PhysX drivers as well. Have it enabled in my NVIDIA panel and everything.
When I go into the CoX display options, enabling PhysX particle physics is grayed out and I can't enable it. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I wanna see the game with the PhysX particle effects!
Halp!
