Havent played again since closed/opened beta and was turned off by what did see, then they did nerfs after the 1st day of live, and that was enuff of a kicker to NOT bring me back. Lots of Lifers arent to happy with it, an dont blame them, BUT with a New game, changes are BOUND to happen. Give it few months perhaps an see what it evolves too, then maybe giver another shot..Can say that the PvP seems to be well liked over there...

absolutly, having a lot of fun , a lot of my old SG is back and playing in an SG called UltraViolent. If you go into the pvp queue we are the guys in black and purple wearing a kitty as an SG emblem. My global is @Pure-American currently playing Pure American, Spectre Verde, BottleRocket, and Pure Terror. If you see me or any of us right click then select duel, we are always up for a good fight.
Just waiting for the servers to come back up and it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.
Pure-American will be added to global when I get on.
I must say it is rather nice seeing a bunch of old faces in the game though (People who haven't played COH in over a year now)

I was in the early beta testing; the poor graphics and the interface really left me completely unimpressed with the game and I didn't bother trying it again until late in the beta shortly before it went open. Well, it had improved somewhat, but I still didn't like the graphics, character options or interface so unless something changes dramatically I doubt I'll buy the game.
Of course the once a week four hour long playsessions in closed beta also had something to do with why I didn't bother trying to play it much... it was only available to play at times my SG had regular sessions in COH. Given the choice between the two I'll take COH.

Tried it during open beta. Played a bit, lost interest quickly. Felt "meh."
'Nuff said.
I tried it for awhile during open beta, but just couldn't get into it. The character customization was interesting, but the basic layout and structure was too traditional MMO for me, like it was WoW with spandex.
Closed beta was enough, thanks. I give the game two and a half years before it folds.

I gave CO a go during closed and open beta. I wanted to like the game, I really did but I just couldn't. There was next to nothing about the game for me to like.
I won't say that I'll never give the game another shot, but I'd have to see a huge, drastic amount of changes for the better before I'd ever bother buying CO. And considering the changes that have been made so far (according to the CO forums anyway), they are changing the game in the opposite direction from what I consider "better".

I've gotten a character no higher than 11 (then he got generic'd was all in good fun)
I still thinking the largest fault of that game is the graphics and the instances (though I can now play with virtually anyone in that game provided it gets too big of a zone)
It really reminded me of Guild Wars' structure.

Hey theres some of those bad graphics, and my Sega genesis blows away an xbox360. Coh was the first MMO I ever played where I heard someone say "I have an emachine" and they weren't talking about a foot rest.

I picked it up yesterday to give it a try (Should tried the beta first)
Anyways, I'm gonna be giving it a try even though CoX still looks and feels better due to the volume of friends playing champions (Alot of old school friends from table top Champions days are giving it a go)
