If it ain't broke set it on fire, then say it was a fault in the design.

While both Rooster Teeth and Scott Kurtz are big, respected names, and I'm a huge fan of their early work, I can't say I've been as impressed by their recent output. The "Captain Dynamic" commercials, for example, were almost anti- funny to me. YMMV.

Faces of the City
Too little, too late, IMHO
I have no idea who any of these people are beyond the Capt. What-'is-name videos to begin with, so I can't say I'm all atwitter over these (hope that doesn't sound rude or anything). I might give them a go at some point.
But with the upcoming nerf to AE arcs custom-group XP*, will anyone else?
(* Yes I am assuming they will be making arcs with custom-groups, I know)
I'm intrigued by the idea, but I think the authors will be so limited by the system that their stories are little better than the devs. I've tried making a few stories and I've found I'm unable to build what I want because I don't have enough control. For instance, I wanted a mission where you go to collect data from a friend, and then come under attack afterwards. I wanted the mission to start with no bad guys and then spawn a huge ambush after you collect the stuff, but you can't make one with no enemy group. I know I can't do that ...yet, so while this is a good idea I don't think it'll work until they add more features to the MA.

I missed this thread somehow.
To RoosterTeeth, I say:
"I'm so happy you made it in time to die with us."
Well now, this is interesting. Especially with SKurtz in on things. Now we're going to have a lot of dipsh** references in missions, I just know it. lol
