That's what i love about the builds i make, they do not inlcude purples.

I'm trying to find a way to incorporate slotting up focused accuracy with physical perfection for the 2.5% defenses bonus. However slotwise i could just slot up manuevers as well. Since the nerf to focused accuracy its base slot with an end reduction, especially with getting physical perfection with it as well is really all it needs.

NEED MORE SLOTS!!! lol

And no charged brawl? ELec on its own is already pretty much hurting on the ST damage IMO. To cut out one of its 3 ST attacks hurts. Not to mention the 3.75% melee or ranged defense you can get out of it.

And yes, I am definitely making a scrapper, cause i want the invuln/elec tank that i've wanted since like issue 2 lol. If you are going to have your's on Freedom I'd love to duo!

Hmm... I could trade out Jacobs ladder for Charged brawl and instead of having the Kinetic combat proc free up that slot too.. THat would give 3 extra slots and keep the Melee defense the same.

My Scrapper is going to be on Justice. I've got almost 1.4 Billion influence waiting for him there, plus Justice likes to do TFs rather fast. Good for the casual player like me!

Drats. And i found a way to keep jacobs ladder, just need to move 3 slots from OWTS, by slotting FA actually gaining .38% max hp plus the other bonuses. Just losing the resistance slotted in OWTS, which overall shouldnt really matter. Then i snag the 2.5% defense bonuses with gaussians and ditch tough/weave and pick up physical perfection.

Slightly less defenses, but much better endurance, and some faster regen so not a terrible tradeoff. Right around 40% defense by going that route. Might pick up assault at 49 with the free'd up power as well.

I'm looking forward to making a Rad/Nrg blaster come I16. Power boost increasing the -DEF component of a lot of Rad's blasts, while probably a bit excessive, sounds very nice.
this. Plus the fact that Energy has an early Build Up means that you can be melting even more mobs sooner with Irradiate. Ran a two man team on test with a friend... we were both Rad/EM and the carnage would have been banded if a dev saw it. Dual Build Ups and dual Irradiates floored mobs faster than we could click Electron Haze for any stragglers.

Been thinking about this set and just want to know from other Blasters how this would work out:

My plan is taking Rad/Elec, coloring the rad bluish to look like water and the elec green for a bio-charge effect. Theme is something like an electric eel or some such, really haven't dwelled on the costume. Just curious if a colored rad set (minus eye beams) looks like water?

Also, for epics, I'm thinking either Ice (for theme) or Elec (for synergy). Elec can leverage that -end that comes with elec manipulation BUT I don't think you can color it, so it wouldn't match. Ice seems more survivable with a +def shield, a heal and panic button. It should round out the water theme alot.

Even thinking about the -def in rad seems thematic (you're covered in conductive water) as well as the -res (*Super Effective!*). Any opinions?

I think that rad/elec would be a good choice - rad has the aoe covered and elec's melee punches (I'm personally biased to not inclued thunderstrike in the phrase "punches," because scatter = bad) hit so hard it's beautiful. Elec was was I first thought to pair with it and the only reason that I'm not is because I have a fire/elec that I still play regularly and I don't want to repeat it

I just hopped on test to play around to see if I could get rad to look like water, this is what I came up with (primary color - blue - 11'th row 6th column; secondary - white):

Wow, that's very awesome! It looks so much like water I think I'll probably see alot of people using that particular combo for lack of such a set.

And you jumped on test and took pics for little ol me?

Thanks! Much appreciated.
