How to get the most regen out of Physical Perfection/Health

I love that they have added this power!

Granted my build is for PvP butr I will be swapping footstomp for Phsycal perfection and slot it with 6 Panacea.

Expensive I know, but mids is now showing my tank as having

893% Regen
259% Recovery

I am very happy

What I plan on doing is just 4 slotting performance shifter, including the proc, I know that doesn't count for regen but just throwing it out there. If you have stamina 4 slotted with the same, your end problems are solved.

well i am going the route of

1 numia heal
1 numina heal/end
1 regen tissue
1 ps + end
1 ps endmod
1 ps endmod/recharge

i think itll work the best

plus i have stamina 4 slotted with the ps + end and health has the miracle +recov, numina regen/recov and a numina heal

gettin the best of all worlds for sure

You might want to consider moving the Regen Tissue: +Regen and the Numina: Heal/End to Health, and to replace the Numina: Heal in PP with a Miracle: Heal in Health.

That'll:
1) Give you a higher total Regen (getting better use from enhancement bonuses).
2) Give you more of the Regen earlier (getting Health before PP).
3) Make less of the Regen reliant on set bonuses.
4) Give you more Health (extra Numina set bonus).
5) Give you more Recovery (extra Miracle set bonus).
6) Have no downside.

If you're willing to accept conditional downsides you could tweak the relative slotting further.

sorry to be the noob here, but "Physical Perfection" What is it and what powerset is it from?

In i16 some of the Epic pools will get a 5th power (so that they'll all have 5).
PP is the power that is added to Energy/Body Mastery, and gives Regen/Recovery equivalent to half that of Health/Stamina respectively.

edit: magnitude of course subject to pre-release balancing.

PP is half of stamina and health in one Power. You can slot what you can put into health/stamin into Phys Perfection.

the reason i did my slotting like that was to help 2ndary benefit from the regen of energize.

i got my health slotted with the miracle +recov, numina regen/recov and a pancea + hp/end

what do you think would be the best slotting then using health and pp to its fullest using all these? trying to get the best of all worlds..recov shouldnt be as big a issue..the regen should be to help energize on my soon to be elec tank.

i got the recov bonus's covered in the other sets.but i wannna make sure i still cover it well enough.

Health gives a higher base Regeneration than PP, so a slot in Health will give you more Regen than a slot in PP. Thus, all else being equal, if you're only going to slot one of them, slot Health.

The +Regen IOs give more Regen when slotted in powers that are also slotted with Heal IOs, so to maximize your Regen you should slot them into the power that is most heavily slotted for Heal. As per above, that should be Health.

Thus my above suggestion that you move the Heal slotting from PP to Health; you'll get more Regen with no downsides (as well as bonus Health and Recovery).

However, adding the Panacea proc to the mix complicates things a little since you end up with 7 things you can slot into Health.

As is often the case, this leaves us with a tradeoff (the "conditional downsides" I mentioned earlier). What do you want when?

To get the best high-level performance, move the Miracle: +Recovery from Health to PP. This'll give you more Recovery, and keep the high Regen (you'll even get a *tiny* bit more since you won't be "limited" to the lvl 40 Miracle: Heal in Health - you can use a plain lvl 50 Heal instead).

However, this also means that you won't benefit from the Miracle: +Recovery until you're in range of PP (<level you get it> - 5). If you're planning to spend time below that level, that might not be desirable (depending on personal preference/playstyle, other available powers and slotting thereof).

Alternative options include moving the Panacea proc or one of the Heal enhancements instead (depending on the relative values you place on Health/End management).

Personally I might consider moving the Panacea proc, because:
1) With Stamina, PP, Miracle proc, Numina proc, multiple Perf. Shifter procs, the Panacea proc, Energize, and access to Power Sink/Conserve Power, I think that the high-level End situation will probably be ok with a little less Recovery.
2) The Miracle proc could be nice to have when RSKing to mid-levels.
3) I personally prefer the steady Health/End recovery (note the lower-case 'r' in "recovery") of Regen/Recovery to the bursty recovery given by the Panacea proc.

But, as I said above, if you're focusing on high-level performance:

Health: Regen Tissue: +Regen, Panacea: +Heal/+End, Numina: +Regen/+Recovery, Numina: Heal, Numina: Heal/End (or Heal/Rech), Heal.
PP: Miracle: +Recovery, <whatever EndMod slotting you want>.

If you really want to maximize your Regen you could of course slot both of them with Heal, but at that point you'll have to consider just how many slots you want to invest into increasing your Regen (something that'd depend on your other powers and overall slotting). Often you'll also be able to get higher Regen increases by going after easy Regen set bonuses instead of slotting PP (something that'll also give you other benefits).

ok so this is what my new build looks like now

i took stars suggestions and rolled with it..

the best numbers i could come up with using physical perfection was getting my regen to 518% and my recov is now up to 4.24 % which will be awesome honestly.

thanks star for the suggestions i think i got the most out of it

You'd get more Regeneration by moving the two Numinas from PP to Health, but this would come at the cost of some Recovery.

If you don't want to sacrifice any Recovery, you could still move the Numina: Heal from PP to Health, and replace the plain Heal in Health with a Numina: Heal/End (or Heal/Rech). This would give a tiny (<0.3%) increase in Regeneration, but the main benefit would be that you get more of the Regeneration earlier in the build. The only downside would be that a Numina: Heal/End tends to cost more than a plain Heal, and some that are only interested in high-level performance might not feel that the tiny increase in high-level Regen is worth this cost.

It might be worth noting that the addition of PP (and thus relatively widespread ability to slot both Heal and EndMod sets in a power suitable for procs) could give added incentive to close the loophole that allows us to "enhance" the effect of these procs. Basically, don't be too surprised if things should suddenly change.

yeah see i had to skip powersink in order to grab it thats why i went with the recovery more.

this seemed to be my best of both worlds for what i had to skip to get it.

having over 4.00 recovery is pretty good change up for powersink
